Where are we today ?
Hey guess what? Think fall is almost here, this morning was 11c (52F) and for the next week down to 6c (44f) overnight . So looks like time to hook up out Mr. Heater again. Really takes the chill off in the morning.
Mr. Heater all hooked up and standing by |
This morning out the back road by the river, cool morning and river water is much warmer, kinda cool to see the fog following the river.
the river is under the fog |
wild turkeys |
Next the phone guy arrived, transferred Ma's phone number from the house and hooked up her internet as well. Things are moving right along. Sis and brother went to the house to pack up a few things then we got there and checked things out. Took pictures of a few items to sell and will probably post then locally on KIJIJI. We returned the cable boxes she does not need any more and headed home by 5 o'clock.
Relaxed outside for a few minutes enjoying what was left of the afternoon.
A little more relaxing outside until it's getting dark and colder, then inside to call it a night by 8 pm.
Fired up our Weber Q grill a couple turkey sausages, added that to a tasty salad and added red cabbage and brown rice crackers to finish up another supper.
all was good |
Thanks for the visit again, hope you had a great day too.

Nice to hear that your Mom has a firm offer on her place. Now when you leave you can go with no worries.

Its all coming together and will be nice.
DeleteGreat news on the quick sale of the house. Real estate is such a crap shoot, don't ask how I know... ;c)
ReplyDeleteIt is great new coming together real quickly and at a good price too.
DeleteI have done well on my own properties over the years as well.
A firm offer for mom's home is great. It hopefully closes as scheduled.
ReplyDeleteMr. Heater is fired up? Not a good sign of things to come, weather wise.
I am sure all will go according to plan.
DeleteA little help from Mr. Heater makes it quite comfy in the morning.
Good night to have the windows open, except just now there's the smell of a skunk outside! Gah! Sure hope Peppy LePew moves on down the road in the morning.
ReplyDeleteCool beans on the offer for Ma's place.
We always have a window open at night, and funny you mention Peppy LePew, he visited us the other night too.
DeleteCongrats on the house sale. I hope ours goes along the same lines when we're ready! :)
ReplyDeleteJust need to research, price it right, good timing, curb appeal and location.
DeleteWhat good news... makes leaving family a little easier. Funny thing... when we were calling for directions on how to get to this refuge, the guy said his name... I was using a cell phone and didn't hear very well... he said "Weber... like the grill". Of course I thought of you ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice to get things wrapped up.
DeleteHa, ha, that is too funny.
That was very quick. Good luck and I hope it closes without glitches.
ReplyDeleteThis couple really wants the house should go just fine.
DeleteCongrats to all on the sale of the house. One less thing to worry about when you two head south.
ReplyDeleteThings are coming together for everyone.
DeleteSure liked the picture of all those wild Turkey's. Glad to see everything is going well with your mom's move and the sale of her home. I need to check into getting ourselves on of those Mr. Heaters they sound great. We are just getting solar installed on our 5'er. Dinner looked great too! Our best to you and Suzie.
