Where are we today ?
SNOW !!! This is something we don't want to see, other than behind the hockey arena. |
Ran a few errands this morning, picked up a large Tv for Ma's apartment on sale in Kitchener. Back home for a quick lunch then I hopped on the mower to cut a bit more grass.
Then the sun came out and warmed things up and we really got to enjoy some reading outside in the warm sunshine. Perfect afternoon. A friend stopped by for a nice visit, to pick out brains about purchasing a motorhome, so we gave him a few tips that he can process and do what he likes with them.
A few hours of wonderful sunshine |
Back home by 5 o'clock fire up our Weber Q, and grill a nice pork tenderloin, some tiny taters, and cauliflower wrapped in foil with a drizzle of Olive Oil.
total about 45 minutes on the grill , again tenderloin 145 f internal temp makes it so moist and melt in your mouth tender |
Tasty salad, tiny taters with salsa sure did the trick |
Glad you could stop in again, and hope you had a wonderful Sunday too.

Oh come on! Snow? Please, not yet!
ReplyDeleteThat snow is the only kind we want to see.
DeleteI hope it doesn't snow before you leave, it's nice that you get to spend so much time with your families.
ReplyDeleteWe actually had warm weather today. First time in over a week and it sure felt good. Hope you guys can wrap things up and head south before any of that "stuff" piles up around yoou.
ReplyDeleteWe do hope that "stuff" really waits until we are gone.
DeleteMaybe you should contact that Al Gore fellow and have him send up your way some of that Global Warming stuff... ;c)
ReplyDeleteThink it will be getting warmer as the week progresses, I guess that Global warming stuff is coming our way.
DeleteSnow isn't something we want to see any time soon and I hope you don't see it either!
ReplyDeleteNo we do not want to see it either other than behind the arena.
DeleteEveryday is easy, and we do have a variety of things to keep us busy.
ReplyDeleteSpending time with the family is a bonus of this liifestyle.
I think you need to give that count down calendar a boost. It's not moving fast enough. It's cold here today.
ReplyDeleteWe would love to, but if we leave sooner this fall have to come back earlier in the spring, not something we want to do.
DeleteI was also wondering why you weren't leaving and I forgot about the time limit for being in the U.S.A. If you post the word snow again I'm going to wash your mouth out with soap - after all it's a 4 letter word. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSorry Cheryl will try to keeo my language under control. but we will be there as soon as we can and avoid this colder weather.
