More great weather and making progress.

Where are we today ?
Cooler last night great for sleeping again. Up before the crack of dawn, as usual, got some research and computing done along with a few coffees. Stop by the garage to check things out then headed in to Ma's in Waterloo by 9 am. Some leftover chicken for lunch, then head over to get a few more things done at the new place and back there to arrange a few things with my sister, Suzie and Ma. By the time we got back here to Camp Awesome was 5 o'clock.
Suzie played with the dogs for a bit while I whipped up a quick supper.
salmon burgers and Bushes beans with some onions
and spices added, on the Weber Q of course
sure did the trick
Still some day light left so hopped on the mower for a little over an hour to get a head start on the grass cutting.  Gonna busy for a few more days so will get done what I can when I have a few minutes. Here and there.
mowed the lawn back to here from the road,
about 3 acres or so to go yet
Called it quits at 7:45 still time to relax a bit, post the blog and get some reading in outside before calling it a night. Another busy day again tomorrow, have a friend helping us move the rest of the furniture to Ma's new place, then friday she can move in.
Thanks again for taking a peek, everything is coming together nicely.

  3. Sounds like you are getting your Mom settled in real quick, George. That's the way those things should move. I hope the transition is easy for her.

  6. Since the days are getting so short so fast, I am sure 7:45 was nearing to dark. I know it is plenty dark around here by 8:30. Yuck!
