A family wedding, 300 mile drive and a campfire.

Where are we today ?
Wilmot Center Ontario
Today we have a wedding to attend, nephew Rob and his fiancee Emily, my sister's son. It happens to be near Peterborough and we are taking Ma there today with us, she lives in Waterloo.
244 kms (151 miles) each way
This morning Tequila waiting for us to come out and play
So we leave here at 7:30am pick up ma and away we go arriving in time for the 11 am ceremony at the Baxter Creek golf and country club. Immediately following is a "cocktail" reception, with lotsa snacks to munch on for the afternoon. Lots of people we have not seen for many years and lots of people we have not met yet, but did have a great time as always. And most of our family was here as well. We all had a really great time.
Here we are
For today I even put my hat a vest down for a rest just to clean up for this important wedding.
Suzie and I even got dressed up
Kim, Brian and three grands
Ma, Sister and Brother-in-Law
the weather held so the ceremony was outside on the lawn
New shoes to go with his Tux
The bride and her father
Saying their vows
officially husband and wife
Emily, Rob and the wedding cake
For breath of fresh air went out to check out my son's (new to him) bike, a cool Honda shadow, he now has three bikes.
I will go for spin another day
Ken on his new ride
Now things winding down about  3 o'clock. So we leave the party and  pack ourselves and ma back in the car and head back home. Dropped her off and back at our house by 6 pm.
A cool beverage with our hosts here and we decide to have a little campfire. Ben had a bit of brush to burn.
did not take much a couple pieces of paper
started quickly
pretty hot fire!
a nice sunset thru the trees
then we sat around the fire and chatted for a bit
till too tired to stay up anymore.
That's it for another busy day,.
Good night and thanks for dropping by.

    1. Sometimes we just have to do it.
There was a few years I had to wear a suit to work everyday, can't imagine that now anymore.
