Thurs. July 7th 2011 More puttering around..

Join us as we travel North America in our
Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August 2006

Another bright, sunny warm day, and and we are up early to enjoy the beautiful view out across the lake with a mirror reflection on it.
nice view

The peace and quite and the large turkey vultures  that seem to like this part of the lake.

Just enjoying the warm weather and a walk to the boat dock, looking for some fishes and check out the stain job on the boathouse.

Then just puttering around, my sister got new batteries for the electric scooter we sold to her a few years ago, and I soldered them in series and installed back into the case, now fun on the scooter again.

After this we decided to wash their rv (Roadtrek) and show her how to clean and wax it. As it ended up we did wax 1/2 of it and it looks real good. Now all she has to do is finish the other half. It was about 3:30 when we were done, time to clean up and relax for a bit (don't want to wear ourselves out!) with a beverage and enjoy the view.
relaxing on the lower deck

Now time to fire up the barbie and grill some pork chops accompanied by some tasty pasta and a tossed salad, thanks sis, for dinner.
so tasty

Afterwards we sat on the lower deck again for a bit, then turn in for the night. I checked my email and found this picture of Omer that Sandy had sent us. Apparently Suzie's Brother was mowing the ditches at the farm and Omer was helping! I think he needs some TLC from Suzie.

  3. Life is good for you two. Nice to do various tasks/chores because you want to and not because you have to!! Much more relaxing.

Yes there is a big difference, don't miss all the work maintaining a property, but actually enjoy helping out once in a while.
