Some more amazing very warm weather that we have been waiting for. An another doggie fix.

        These late summer nights we went to bed at 10 Pm, slept in until 6am wow! A bit cooler last night 58F at 6 then the sun quickly was warming things up. I had few things to pick up in Strathroy so headed in around 9am , Got myself supplies and fuelled up the car and extra gas can for only$1.04 a litre, most places around are $1.30..

          Home for a light lunch then outside to enjoy this amazing warm day 84F  only 40% humidity too,  at 1 pm gotta love it !  We have been hearing what sounded like rain or hail on our roof most of the day. Too hot and sunny for that though, it was actually the keys from the maple trees all around us, They are everywhere !

       We did enjoy some of this awesome weather outside in the shade. Nothing like reading outside on a hot  sunny day in the shade. So relaxing.

       Enjoying  this warm weather finally and the sounds of the birds chirping and mourning doves in the distance. In a very quiet campground

       3 pm is time for Happy hour so got my new insulated mug #1 daughter got me for my 70th birthday party at their house. A very nice mug keeps my beer real cold!

      Shortly afterwards  Kim and Ken joined us along with Tucker and Gerry. Tucker ran right to Suzie and hopped right onto her knee. Then I headed inside for a refill and when I came out Tucker was waiting for a treat, they never forget do they? Suzie gets the treat for Tucker and he does what he has been trained to do.

           Another fun Happy Hour, lots of laughs. Networking with information until time for everyone to head home in time for supper.
            Our supper tonight was a prime rib steak I picked up on sale this morning , real treat for us when I can get one at a good price. Suzie wanted a baked potato with it and I did some fresh mushrooms and onions in foil for me. Plus some nice fresh asparagus I picked up for a good price as well.

       That was about it for this amazing day, still in shorts at 7:30 with the late sunrise right here on our site, Temps still in the high 70's whats not to love about this?

       Time to wrap up this posting with a sunset photo I took last night, maybe another one later tonight I will show you tomorrow. Gotta do some more reading.
