Where are we today ?

After heading in shortly after 8 pm last, a bit overcast and still very warm so no sunset picture tonight. Very warm overnight 65F at 5 am with the windows open and fan going was quite comfortable. Got coffees and computing done then took the car down to Pettigrew's Garage for 8 am appointment that we can make finally! This was to replace a right front ball joint that had worn out, after only 2 years, but it is under warranty thats a nice thing .heading down River road past the cows and into town |
old ball joint not good |
the new one in blue brand new |
interesting skies only drive this morning but no rain |
Temperatures only got to 84F this afternoon and overcast but not hot enough for me to go for a swim in the pool yet. Yesterday would have been good if the pool was ready.
topping up our fresh water tank |
just dragged the water hose from the house |
riced the cauliflower in my tiny food processor then in the microwave for 10 minutes |
A bit later I got the toppings ready for the pizza we really like to load it up.
toppings, pizza sauce, lots of pepperoni, ham , bacon, fresh mushroom, onions, tomatoes and lots of cheese, olives on my half |
Now done perfectly we could only eat half! leftovers for lunches |
Glad that y'all dropped on by and hoped you enjoyed some wonderful summer weather as well.

ReplyDeleteThanks Stewit was wonderful.
DeleteWe’ve just recently discovered cauliflower crust pizza, a nice alternative to the traditional. A great day for you ... and us too.
ReplyDeleteI have made this quite a few times, just not lately, we were overdue. And it is a wonderful alternative we enjoy.
DeleteI have seen this recipe a few times and wondered how it would turn out, it looks like it turned out darn good to me.
ReplyDeleteIt does turn pout wonderful we really enjoy it.
DeleteThat pizza got my mouth watering! Nice to have the repair covered by warranty.
ReplyDeleteA good pizza is a nice treat, an sometimes warranty works out quite well.
DeleteThat is a pizza I could eat and not feel guilty about doing so.

DeleteOh George! That pizza looks so yummy, I'm getting a hankering!! Glad you got your car fixed and under warranty is even better! Very nice that you can have them come to you and pump out your tanks. Love your mini food processor! Perfect size for your home!
ReplyDeleteThe pizza was excellent thanks, time you to make yours with broccoli? Getting pumped out right here sure beats driving the coach many miles, this is actually cost effective for us.
DeleteIt looks amazing, but I just can't get excited about cauliflower crust pizza.
ReplyDeleteIt was very good but the cauliflower crust not for everyone, for us it is all about the toppings and no carbs.
DeleteGreat job on fixing the ATV!
ReplyDeleteLOL, don't have an ATV, this comment must be somebody else's blog.
DeleteA nice day for sure and no forecasted rain. I love ya, George, but you're a wimp!! If it was 84F you darn well should have been in that water!! hahaha just teasing. You know what i swim in. :)
ReplyDeleteThe pizza looks great and I'll do it again, just for me though. It is all about the toppings for sure.
Yes Patsy I am a wimp. If I got in the pool i want to enjoy it, the water was only 72F not what I would enjoy. All overcast and not really that warm out with the cool breeze.
DeleteWe do enjoy this pizza and really is all about the toppings that we love.
Good deal on getting the car fixed under warranty.
ReplyDeleteI thought is was too, the parts should last long that 2 years..
