Just another busy day getting things done.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Rain overnight and looks like it will be raining most of the day. Of course it will rain, I just washed and waxed 2 cars. But they desperately needed to be done. We actually were supposed to have an appointment this morning at Pettigrew's Garage this morning for 8 am but Suzie had to be in Stratford for an x-ray at 7:30 this morning, nothing serious.  That is why I was told to try yesterday morning. I will  check with Dale tomorrow after lunch and see if they can get the car in, if not next week one day will work, we wanted 2 things looked at in the car as well as the motorhome. Not a rush though just some preventive maintenance, before we head south this fall.
Yes we had rain this morning as Suzie headed out at 6:45.
I puttered around here at home got my old Mac Book pro out too purge a mess of pictures from years ago, getting ready to back up to my  SD card. A couple of hours with this I was done. Suzie back from Stratford after stopping at Staples to have genaology books printed (10 more are ordered). And she was back home by 11 am time for lunch. Then she got a call from her Dad to take him to Kitchener for some bloodwork. He came and picked her up and I headed back the Stratford to pick up the completed coping, 10 books about 170 pages each.
Then back home for a bit more computing and outside for a nice warm afternoon 76F and cloudy but no rain yet.
She got back home by 2:30 her Dad dropped her off, She updated me on the tests, And a nice Happy hour.
Eventually time to whip up supper, So I made our  salad and grilled a nice pork Tenderloin to go with it.
a very nice warm afternoon
Reading for while was great afternoon.
This pork tenderloin does not take long to cook 145F internal temp. Maybe 20 minutes total.
maybe 20 minutes after turning was excellent
salad , applesauce, and melt
 in your mouth fork tender
That was our fun, busy day getting more things done. and possibly our plans written in jello will be changed once again. Time will tell soon.
Last night our  neighbours  Barry and Helen were having a campfire on their deck so we joined them for a while just because we could and were invited. always fun to chat with these guy we have known and camped with for many years.

    1. We did get this all done, it is a neat fire, and with the lid on it becomes a table.
Yeah the temperature dropped to the low 60's , we don't get many hot nights here in the summer.

  4. That is a huge pork tenderloin. I've been looking in our stores for one like this but they don't have any at the moment. I've been wondering where all the beef and pork is going as there seem to be very little offerings in the stores. That propane fire pit looked very neat to be sitting around on. I would love to have one like this.

    1. We got the tenderloin last week at the No Frills on sale, 2 in a package for $7.00. Not many sales on meat lately, but I do keep an eye open for them The fire place is very nice to add to their deck, keeps the bugs away. nice ambiance and no smoky smell.

  6. Good for Suzie getting more books sold. Of course it will rain after you do the cars but one day like that and now a gorgeous one. The weathermen/women have been correct lately!!
Lots taken care of and some relaxing. We had spitters pretty much all day and a nice soft rain for about an hour around supper time. Perfect weather coming our way!

    1. It was a very productive day, and relaxing as well like we usually do.
Nice that so many people are interested in the family history, too bad she does not make any money on them, lol...
And this perfect weather we have been waiting for is finally here.

  7. The pork tenderloin looks delicious! My brother-in-law cooked two yesterday for a family get together. They were so good! I used to get these often, but haven't had one for awhile. It's on my radar now for a good sale! I enjoy gathering info on our family history and love hearing details about relatives lives. It's getting harder to obtain that kind of information since so many people are now gone, but as long as I have some to talk to I will do my best.
