Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this summer
Good thing you can't catch that rabbit by yourself because you'd have a hard time getting it to lay still on your Weber grill... :cD
ReplyDeleteOnce it is skinned and cleaned there with be no more movement and would turn out wonderful. Been there done that many years ago.
DeleteI wish we had a pool like that behind the house. It's been very warm here and a swim coulda been nice.
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky being able to enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool most places we go in the summer.
DeleteWe had a pool at our house for many years when we lived in Texas. We used it the first few years and the last few just looked at it, worked on it and paid the bills for it. :( It's better when someone else has it and allows you to use it.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true, much better this way for sure.
DeleteAnother great day! Can you not get bunnies at the markets, all ready to go on the grill?
ReplyDeleteYes we can Peter, but much more money than I am willing to pay.
DeleteWe used to raise California and New Zealand rabbits for meat.... Hadn't had one in about 15+ years so bought one at the farmer's market a few weeks ago. Made a great rabbit stew... tasted just like chicken. Darn! I could have saved $$$ and just bought an old boiler. I don't care for wild rabbit... and then, you have to check their livers for tularemia (rabbit fever)... oh well... I'll stick with chicken. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI agree the rabbit is nice but chicken much cheaper and tastes about the same. Really can't see spendiing the money. Its all good though.
