Couple more things done , enjoying this wonderful summer weather.

Where are we today ?
clic on a pic to enlarge it
Early morning walkabouts  just enjoying the fresh morning air and quiet time shortly after 7 am. Cool fresh air and the sunrising gonna be another perfect day.
Spotted a couple bunnies here and there, thinking of bbq'd rabbit, just need Charlie here to catch them for me.
We leaving tomorrow so we do laundry today, and Suzie clean the coach, standard procedure after 2 weeks in one spot.
like the outside laundry here right across from us
Then across the road to The Red Barn to pick up some Freestone peaches, Suzie's favorite. And today was the first day for them this season just picked this morning.
nice orchards here
first batch of freestone
love them
Now because we have full hookups and we have our own carpet cleaner now I decided to do some spot cleaning. The cook (me) has a habit of dropping things on the kitchen carpet. Even missing the throw rugs we have there to prevent that. We were gifted this in southern California last winter and it just works wonderful.
I even found a place to store it
carpets like new again
Got to enjoy some quality reading time outside and then Suzie would like to go for a swim. Yahoo! This is rare so lets go, nice that the campground is quiet and only about 4 people in the outside pool, nobody inside.
Nice and refreshing, love it when its quiet
nobody on the splash pad
Nicely cooled down, read some more , chat with a few people then time for supper. Couple of fresh corn cobs, soaked in water on the grill, then a couple of boneless skinless chicken breasts  I had marinated this afternoon. Cooked on the grill mat and added some BBQ sauce near the end, The grill mat keeps them from drying out and turned our perfectly.
Just added a green salad and seedless grapes
sure hit the spot again
Another great summer day relaxing and getting a few more things done.
Read outside not until after dark the call it a day.
In the morning we heading on out, 2 weeks here gotta go, somewhere, anywhere we have these wheels that need to turn. Looks like Plattsville for a week so far.
Thanks for stopping in and hope y'all had a great day too.

  1. Good thing you can't catch that rabbit by yourself because you'd have a hard time getting it to lay still on your Weber grill... :cD

    1. We are lucky being able to enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool most places we go in the summer.

  3. We had a pool at our house for many years when we lived in Texas. We used it the first few years and the last few just looked at it, worked on it and paid the bills for it. :( It's better when someone else has it and allows you to use it.

  4. Another great day! Can you not get bunnies at the markets, all ready to go on the grill?

  5. We used to raise California and New Zealand rabbits for meat.... Hadn't had one in about 15+ years so bought one at the farmer's market a few weeks ago. Made a great rabbit stew... tasted just like chicken. Darn! I could have saved $$$ and just bought an old boiler. I don't care for wild rabbit... and then, you have to check their livers for tularemia (rabbit fever)... oh well... I'll stick with chicken. ;-)

    1. I agree the rabbit is nice but chicken much cheaper and tastes about the same. Really can't see spendiing the money. Its all good though.
