Where are we today ?
Another warm night, no heat on, windows open a bit and and beautiful sunny blue sky this morning. Last day of the long weekend so all the "weekenders" are packing up ready to head back home to work and school. Now we gonna have a few quiet days before the next round comes in. A few members from Michigan to celebrate their Memorial Day long weekend here.
Neighbors left, people in the valley, Gail, Randy and Hayley left, we said so long to all those people. After a few walkabouts we settled down to enjoy our books, Beside th cabin next to us in the sun, almost too hot in shorts and t-shirt, so we moved from sun to shade back and forth. Really a perfect day weather wise.

Wow, the grass sure is green there! Enjoy your peace and quiet at least for a few days.

Its really growing now they can barely keep up cutting it. Quiet will be nice.
DeleteSo, how many books do you figure you go through each week? Sometimes it's nice to have lots of people you know around and sometimes it's nice to just be by yourself. Looks like your having a little bit of both. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteAbout 3-4 books a week depending on how busy we are. We enjoy a few people around sometimes and really enjoy our time alone.
DeleteWe had a fantastic day here with the weather as well... we also lost all of our weekend warriors!
ReplyDeleteCould not beat this weather and love it we are constanly having new neighbors.
DeleteA busy week-end, a peaceful week, and a busy week-end. You get to enjoy it all. Love Old Bay Seasoning.
ReplyDeleteWe stay right here and the change comes to us.
DeleteBack to peace and tranquility. Enjoy it with the better weather.
ReplyDeleteWe will enjoy it all.
DeleteGreat dinner. How do you keep the fish from falling apart on the grill? Would it work ( for me I'm thinking ) to just put it on a piece of foil and cook it that way.
ReplyDeleteA little olive oil on the fish and turn very carefully only once. Or tin foil works (spray with pam or olive oil) is excellent too.
DeleteWell, I'm a hundred years old and have never seen someone drink a beer like that… HAHaa and yep… another beautiful sunset ;) … good morning, George ;)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Carolyn, you not a hundred yet, still have a long way to go. There is one in every crowd is there not?
DeleteReading 3 to 4 books a week is a whole lot of reading. Great looking dinner.
ReplyDeleteWell we don't have to maintain a big house, and enjoy reading. Like to schedule our days so that we can make time. Dinner was wonderful.
DeleteYou are now living in my kind of weather.
ReplyDeleteIt was short lived though.
DeleteThanks so much for adding the times & temps for the dinner. Gonna try it tmw.. going to store in a little while.
ReplyDeleteThose times and temp are approximate and variable, a little practice and you will get the feel of it works wonderful
