Where are we today ?
If you missed Saturdays posting click HERE we got home late saturday night after such a busy day so I posted it sunday morning.
Now Sunday morning we are having more wonderful weather, sunshine and temps into the low 80's f (28c) not much cloud cover or wind gotta love it.
Today we are having Suzie's Mom and Dad over for a Mother's Day breakfast casserole after church. As usual everyone one has things to do and was really nice just the 4 of us here in our house.
I whipped up the casserole and got it ready. For the recipe click HERE. Also some fresh baked Pillsbury Crescent rolls and Suzie made a very tasty blueberry cheesecake for desert.

We had a wonderful visit with her Mom and Dad and then a walkabout the yard here revealing some beautiful red tulips in the garden, a sure sign of spring.
A bit of machinery noise for a while, we noticed the farmer across the road is apparantly fertilizing his fields. Impressive machinery.
After her Mom and Dad left I hopped on the Ferris Mower and spent about 90 minutes mowing a bit more of the 5 acres enjoying this wonderful weather.

Around the edges I found a nice patch of white Trilliums. These are Ontario's provincial flower, if you care can read about them
HERE. This is anther sure sign of spring.

Now her Mom and Dad gone and lawn mowing done, perfect weather, we are enjoyed reading our books in the shade for a while.

Not real hungry after a filling brunch and desert, just grill a couple loaded hot dogs and potato chips for a nice light supper.

Then just read a bit more and take the dogs for a run out the back before calling it a night.
Hope y'all had a wonderful Mother's day and enjoy the same wonderful weather we had. Tomorrow gonna visit my Ma for a nice Mother's day visit too.

It was indeed a great day - absolutely perfect temperature. I washed the bike !! Man oh Man was it dirty from all that Arizona sand.
