Another wonderful desert day here in Quartzsite, this is what we love, 43f at 5 am and not much wind today. As the sun rose temps climbed to 69F and humidity only19% this is wonderful.Gerry took their trailer to Rv Lifestyles to have a blue flame propane heater installed at 8 am this morning. So Melinda and Tucker joined us for a bit while he was gone. Suzie got some more play time with Tucker and even chat with Melinda as well.
Tucker likes to play |
what a suck |
another amazing desert sunrise, everyday is different |
Gerry home before 10 with their new very efficient propane heater. I am sure they will love it.
this heater is so efficient and quiet |
Afternoon reading under our awning and then Happy Hour shortly after 3 pm. Ya know Beer 30?
Time for a brew and chat for a while before it cools down around 4pm and time to whip up supper.
Yup Beer 30 |

rare tuna steak for me Awesome! |
Hope your day was wonderful as well and thanks for stopping by.
Where have we been this Winter
Warms days are what we want this time of year. That's a good thing!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is we loving' it.
DeleteLove the Beer 30 sign and most especially that tuna steak, major yum!
ReplyDeleteThanks Contessa, the steak was awesome.
DeleteNice that it is warming back up and the winds have died down. Question on your 1st pic (0467.jpg) is that a little Mr.Buddy Heater in the background? After freezing in Idyllwild I have ordered one, how is yours working out? In SoCal it's just past wine-30 - care to join me?
ReplyDeleteThat is a MR. Buddy Heater have it hooked into our Main propane tank and we love it, Have had it for 10 years now saves a lot of propane and battery power when we are boon docking. Wine 30, Beer 30 is always a wonderful social time. Are you in Quartzsite?
DeleteIt's supposed to be in the low 20's here this week and surely even colder in Canada, so it seems you are in the right part of the world.
ReplyDeleteWe always enjoy the warm sunny days here in the winter, no snow, humidity or bugs.
DeleteMiss those boon docking days in the desert. Have to wait till January. Seems with all the visits of Tucker, won't be long before you have an addition to your own family. *smile*
ReplyDeleteDesert boondocking is what we love hope you can get of for some. Tucker visits are nice but don't think we need one of our own.
DeleteLooks like Tucker may become a permanent resident in your motorhome. ;c)
ReplyDeleteNice to have Tucker visit, but the care and maintenance of a full time pet is not something we want right now.
DeleteI have had many pets over the years, but no desire anymore for me.
Looks like a great day again, guys. We'll see you soon!
ReplyDeleteEveryday day is wonderful, looking forward to seeing you guys again. Travel safe.
DeleteWe have that exact heater and bought it at Grandma's. It is great.
ReplyDeleteGeorge....you didn't want to stick around and do "girl talk?" lol
We love the heater and really works great. I had things to do and they did not want to come along, The girl talk can go on without me being here,
