          Just another great desert day enjoying the weather, most days all the same, sunny, warm and no humidity. Got to 79 f here (perfect) but gonna cool down for a while. Give us the heat thats what are here for ! But then we heading further south tomorrow so will be much warmer.
        Suzie wanted me to bake some more carrot raisin cake loaves (sorry no recipe I used a mix we like) so about 7:30 am I set to work and did that for her and me too. We like a small snack sometimes and these work perfect, Enough here for a couple months, in the Freezer.

         Then I did a quick drive about town pick up a few necessities, just to see whats new. Every day is new here at this time of year.

The rv show will be here in a month or so

      Got home just after 9 am and Suzie wanted her hair trimmed,  No problem off to the Quartzite Beauty Salon, next to the Chevron on main Street, she has been here before and her hair was trimmed to perfection like always.

       After here we stopped by the Library so she could do updates on here I-phone and I pad with the free internet. 

      That done home for a light lunch and I put on the 4lb chicken I pick up yesterday on sale in Blythe California only $3:58 and we will get many meals from this and a pot of soup as well. And we enjoy reading in the shade while th chicken cooks.
       Wanted to cook the chicken this afternoon because we are joining our friends at La Posa South for Happy hour, before we hit the road tomorrow. We will see them all in a week or so anyway.

      Happy hour with Bill, Patsy, Gerry,  Melinda and Pats Sister Gayle and BIL John joined us as well.

     But time to head home a couple miles down the road, and whip up supper as we had another wonderful desert  sunset.

       Whipped up a salad and reheated the chicken we wanted for supper. Perfect

       Now we have more leftover chicken and bones for more soup, OH YEAH ! (love real homemade  chicken soup) I will do some of that too.

      But now the day is winding down, soon time to call it a night. thanks for stopping on by.
