What can I say? Just more clear blue skies today. And temps only got to 64f, But we had sunshine all day long with no clouds. And was wonderful, shorts, t-shirt and sandal weather for most of the afternoon, no bugs, no wind (5mph) and 21% humidity. This is what we love and the desert scenery we really enjoy. My shadow is following me, I am not really this tall |
Later this afternoon Bill got his drone out to check out the area around us. It is a cool machine.
Tucker is not sure what to do with drone making noise |
Thats Bill doing a great job flying |
first shot from the air |

Bill flew his drone over and got a great shot and wonderful stone made map of the USA and Canada. now how cool its that? Thanks Bill for sharing !
Our coach in the front, Gerry and Melinda next and Bill and Patsy at the rear, far lef |
Shortly after 3 pm it was time for Happy Hour. We all got together and Barbara (me My dog and My RV) joined us a well. We had invited her for supper after a social time and gladly she accepted.
Perfect weather |
what a fun time Bill, Patsy, Melinda, Gerry, Suzie and Barbara |
Sure hit the spot and I think Barbara enjoyed it as well |
And then Gerry and Melinda insisted we have 1/2 of this amazing Apple Cherry pie for desert. Thanks guys it sure was tasty, we all really enjoyed it.

Where have we been this Winter
It certainly is nice to be in Arizona this time of year and not having to deal with snow. Enjoy yourselves!
ReplyDeleteWe always enjoy the Arizona desert, clear blue skies, and yes, no snow.
DeleteThose drones are so much fun. When we were at the Q two years ago, someone in our group had a drone and flew over and took a great picture of all of our rigs too. It's amazing what you can see from one of those things.
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing to get a "bird's eye view" of things around us. Glad Bill brought his out.
DeleteCrikey those drone things sure take good pictures, aye?? I nearly caught one of them the other day. A bloke had one at the beach and when it returned to him I went in for the kill. Meanie Mum called me off or I would have got it. You sure had a nice time with your friends.
ReplyDeleteLOL.... Charlie I can just imagine you going in for the kill. Good thing Meanie Mum was there. I don't think they are very tasty, Not like ice cream. They do take amazing pictures.
DeleteLooks like another fun day in the desert. Someone did a good job on the map - fun to get an overhead shot.
ReplyDeleteEveryday in the desert is fun.
DeleteYes they did a very good job on that map.
Another fun day with friends, we met Barbara a few years ago, what a nice lady.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun and yes she is a super lady, like most rvers.
DeleteWhat a great day! I love the drone pix. The map image is awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful and the map was wonderful glad I found it.
DeleteLooks beautiful there, Alberta is in a deep freeze!! Very cool to see that stone map.
ReplyDeleteKeep warm there.
DeleteThat map is wonderful.
Fantastic to take areal views with a drone. I'd like to have one and use for marketing.
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful that Bill has his, too pricey for us though, and like you said the ariel views are amazing.
DeleteGood Grief! we are neighbors!! And here I have been wondering about your location!!! In your drone photo of your M H, your coach is at the bottom of a triangle. We are at the left of the top! I have to laugh at the places I have looked for you.....
ReplyDeleteWell heck come on over, we leaving here Monday morning.
