Where are we today ?
Happy Valentines day!! To everybody out there, especially Suzie, the love of my life, my friend, my lover and a truly amazing person. She has done so much in my life and really keeps me under control. Not sure how, but she does a great job.Any who, this morning the sun is shinning and its Valentines day! We have been sun deprived for a while and really need to see it again. Feeling awesome and lotsa walkabouts the resort enjoying fresh air and the wonderful warmth of the sun.
Today is our last day here so stuff to get ready for on the road, I check the tires, shake carpets etc, Suzie she vacuum, dust, wash the floors then before ya know it we are done in no time.
Now with the wonderful sunshine we got the chairs out and can read outside and enjoy this Awesome Day! Chat with new neighbors walking buy and it is soo good.
a wonderful day in the sun! |
Ok it's Valentines day and I want to do something Special for Suzie. Nothing we need and don't much enjoy going out for supper. Her wish today was Scallops. So thats my plan I gonna whip up some bacon wrapped sea scallops ( I happened to come across) on our Weber, make some stuffed baked potatoes with sour cream, bacon and cheese, (no calories at all!), tossed salad an couple slices of garlic bread.
oh a little wine and a nice red rose just to round out the day. |
Thanks for stopping in and checking us out again, take care and enjoy everyday as if it was your last one!, works for me.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the wishes, we did have an awesome day too!
DeleteYou are very sweet to create such a lovely tribute in your blog to Suzie.
ReplyDeleteNaw me just George she is the Awesome one!
DeleteOne of the many things I love about your blog (besides the wonderful food pictures) is that you always mention Suzie and how much she means to you. This just gives me shivers (in a good way). You are both lucky folks; You two will always be one of my favorite travelling couples.
ReplyDeleteJool
Yes we are so lucky that we found each other and are living our dream together!
DeleteGlad the sun came out. The food looks delicious especially since all I've been eating for the last 3 days is veggies.
ReplyDeleteWe are glad too for the sunshine.
DeleteVeggies sounds wonderful for you but not for Suzie, she says now way!
I love scallops but always manage to overcook them. At least I know what I am doing wrong. I have heard scallops are the most often "faked" seafood, often getting round punchings from skate wings replacing them.
ReplyDeleteFrom the fresh seafood market on the gulf, think these are real.
