Our first Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Where are we today ?
New Hamburg Ontario
Well its a cold overcast day for Thanksgiving Sunday, a good day to go to Kitchener and enjoy our first thanksgiving turkey dinner this year. And we do have so much to be thankful for.
Rode in with Dennis and Sandy and noticed that we were having a bit of winter type weather when we arrived at her Aunt Delores and Uncle Earlus in Kitchener. Look at the small hail stones on the hood of their car, yep its cold out, did not really get above the freezing mark all day.
hail, yuk....
They supplied their house, turkey, potatoes, gravy, mixed veggies, turnip and veggies with dip. Suzie's mom made two pumpkin and two strawberry pies with spelt flour and fresh made whipped cream, my pasta salad with rice noodles. Sandy and Rose a salad, and Rosylyn tasty chocolate squares with pecans, oh if I missed somebody sorry.
lotsa food

so tasty
lotsa deserts

Only about twenty of us ended up there, so we had plenty to eat and will have leftovers as usual. Always a great time getting together with family on these special occasions. I even got another turkey carcass to make some more turkey soup, before we head south.

Now just back home to relax, read and compute. No supper tonight after a great feast today. A few left overs for Omer, and he wants to curl up on his lazy boy too! All he needs is a tv.
He likes it here, can see and hear what's going on.

We had a great day, and hope you had a good one too.
Tomorrow we do it all again with my family, in Aurora at my daughter Kim and Brian's place.
Thanks for dropping in, keep warm!

George, someone emailed me to let us know NOT to take any rice across the border. ( Only instant ) Kelly
