Happy Monday...

Where are we today ?
New Hamburg Ontario
Cold, wet and rainy again today, but no problem for us, we have a few things to do to wrap up and always feel better leaving here when the weather is like this. Two more sleeps before we hit the road thursday morning, not going to far but we are going!
This morning gave my chiropractor a call and got in for a quick tune up before we leave. Then stopped by the wholesaler to pick up 5 boxes of coffee (enough for 210 pots) individually packaged, we kinda really like this coffee. Then stopped by ma's for a coffee and back home.
got 5 boxes of this coffee we enjoy
As I pulled in lane at the farm I find a huge truck here trimming down a few dead trees. Need to be done, so here he is.
Ran some errands, Suzie re-arranged a few things inside and I cleaned all the windows on our coach, now sparkling clean.
Then the tree trimming guy comes in by the house to do a bit more. Omer he wants to be right there, but Suzie managed to get him inside our coach for a bit. Don't need no huge logs falling and wiping him out, really not a good thing !
Omer relaxing inside our coach, safe and sound.
A bit more computer stuff, research done and setting up our new i-phone (its way too cool !). Never thought we would have one of these things. But hey, it really is one of them smart phones, keeps asking what this dummy is trying to do. (I still have a dumb phone for me thou, just so Suzie can find me when I wander off.....).
Opened a new bottle of hand wash "soft soap" and had to drill the tiny hole in the top again. Now it does not drip anymore while we travel. Just a handy little tip I share every year as I re opened a new bottle. It really does work ya know!
just an itty bitty little hole
After a relaxing rainy day it was time for supper. Dennis and Sandy had a meeting in the house  so we were banned for entering (privacy stuff ya know). So she threw some potatoes and garlic sausage in the oven, we threw on a few veggies and made a tossed salad and voila! We did have a wonderful tasty supper.
Garlic sausage, taters, veggies and salad, yummy
Ok that's it for a rainy Monday, good for us, hope it was good for you too.

Thanks for stopping by and joining us.

  1. Omer looks like he found his spot. Right by the heater! He could sure get used to that.

  6. Thanks for the tip on the soap. Look's like you both are ready to role. Sure hated to leave all our garlic sausage behind but guess we will enjoy it that much more in the spring. Delicious looking dinner.

    1. We have a three pound vacuum sealed, labelled package in our freezer from a local butcher hopefully we can take it with us, worth a try.

  7. OK so, drilling the tiny hole equalizes the pressure, so it doesn't drip?
That would have never occurred to me.
Now you've piqued my interest about that "private meeting" in the house. Seems intriguing!

    1. Yep it works, now ya know this very important information.
Intriguing yes, but a business meeting concerning farm stuff. And on a farm the kitchener is the meeting room.
