Stratford, Ontario
Geo was pain free last night and slept good.
He is scheduled to have his stint tomorrow at Victoria Hospital in London in the afternoon. He will be transported by Voyageur from Stratford to London and back..

ReplyDeleteYeah, some progress for George. What is Voyageur? An ambulance? Thank you Daughter #2 for driving Suzie, I'm sure that all that snow makes it difficult. You don't need to post every day, when you can is all we ask. You need to do what is right for you and for George. As he always tells me, there are no rules in blogging. Best of luck for a smooth procedure tomorrow. Hugs to you both.
ReplyDeleteThanks Suzie! Good news that George will be getting some relief tomorrow. Like the rest of your followers, I too look forward to the daily posts from Our Awesome Travels, but on this journey we all know you have many higher priorities than a daily post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update, hope all goes well tomorrow. Prayers from North Carolina.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Suzie. I am glad that it worked for you. We hope that George's procedure tomorrow goes well.

ReplyDeleteI just read where Milk Thistle Tea is used to help treat cancer of the liver. Amazon sells it if you cannot find it in your local area.
ReplyDelete"Protects Against Liver Damage"
Milk thistle tea is often prescribed for liver treatments. It contains silymarin, an active ingredient, which is composed of three different flavonoids. A study published in the Journal of Applied Toxicology directly links silymarin to repairing liver cells and protecting against liver damage induced by acetaminophen. According to several studies, it is also used in cirrhosis of the liver and hepatocellular carcinoma.
Glad they are moving ahead and the stent gives you some relief.
ReplyDeleteSuzie although we appreciate the updates, you have way more important things to do getting George comfy. Take some time off from the blog. You need to concentrate on what needs to be done for that guy of yours. We will all be here waiting whenever you get a minute to post. Thinking of you guys often.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you both with continued prayers. Thankful George had a good night sleep without pain.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update. I'm glad to hear George was pain free and able to sleep. Prayers for you both.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to update everyone. As it was a long day for all! Dad’s stent surgery was a success!!! Although it was very solid and closed they were still able to get it in. Dad was in and out of surgery within an hour and cracking jokes at all of us very shortly after awaking from his sedation. It was a huge relief to see him in such great spirits even though sleepy. He arrived back at Stratford hospital shortly after 4 PM. Where he will be staying until he is cleared to go home. We have been told that his jaundice should clear up within 1 to 2 weeks and his appetite within a couple days. Thank you for all the positive thoughts and prayers ❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to update us. Very happy to hear the great news about George. Continued prayers for all of you.
DeleteYeah, good news. Praise the Lord
ReplyDeleteThinking of you both and wishing George all the best tomorrow with the stent.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your update Jess. HAPPY it all went well. Take care. HUGS AND PRAYS TO ALL.
ReplyDeleteRest up from your long day.
