A really good nights sleep, enjoyed right until 5:30 this morning. Suzie & Sandy loaded up the rest of the stuff in various vehicles. At 8:30 we head out for the 15 minute drive to our new apartment. We checked in with Wendy, for orientation, signed a few papers, got our keys and began moving stuff out of Ross's truck before 9am. That was all done and stuff was beginning to be unpacked with Rose, Sandy, Jessie, & Suzie.

ReplyDeleteWell I know you and mostly Suzie are happy to be in your new home. Looks like a super nice apt. That shower is handycap ready. If I ever get around to reduing my master bathroom I would go for that shower set up. How wonderful for so many to show up and help get this day put together. Wish the weather would have been better but can't have everything.
ReplyDeleteNow you both catch your breath and get some rest and start working on getting better George.
Sleep well tonight and enjoy your nice warm home.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your first night in your new digs ... it will be so much warmer than the RV during the winter.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice looking place George. I'm sure you and Suzie will be happy there. Warm and cozy. Close to your doctors too.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have so much help moving in. A really great picture of you and Suzie. Enjoy your new home.
ReplyDeleteYou have many blessings already including all that moving assistance and the new apartment, which is very nice and should meet your needs. Now you can concentrate on restoration of health. We’re all pulling for you both.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see you in your new home. That part is over, now to settle a bit. Wonderful to have friends and family to bring their many hands. If necessary, Suzie will have time to re-organize later.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the place, hope your snow doesn't last this first time and you just relax. Hugs to both of you.
Glad you got moved in okay but I know you'll miss being in the southwest in your coach.
ReplyDeleteSunny and balmy here in Phoenix. I hear hummers migrating still...the stragglers I guess. Some do stay for the winter so had to put feeders out. Snow is good to visit but not to live in and I see it snowed there. Cold front predicted for next week. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have such great help from loving family and friends. Good to get settled in before the snow gets deep. Love seeing your great smile
ReplyDeleteI do miss the snow, for about 5 minutes!! Thanks for the pictures of it. Great to have family around to help with moving. Enjoy your new digs!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy for you both. The place looks great and certainly warmer than the alternative in an Ontario winter. Thankful you had so much help and were able to get it all sorted so quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt must be a great feeling to be finally moved in to your new place. How wonderful to have all that help and be able to get things put away. Whenever we have moved it always just felt good to have things out of boxes and in the cupboards.
ReplyDeleteI always liked those first few snow storms and now I like them even better from a distance in pictures...lol...thank you for sharing.
Continuing to send prayers, positive thoughts and hugs to you both.
