Headed off to bed last night at 9 pm last night after a very nice surprise visit with GD # 3 . She was out Trick our Treating with her Mom and Dad. They were dressed up but with the cold rainy night did not get out to many places, But heck is sure was nice see them, totally unexpected, first time since 2005 since we saw any of our grands dressed for Halloween. Once we went fulltime we were never here at this time of year.Loved her costume but she had just woken up and switch most children under 2 yrs old a little cranky at first, she did come around though |
We did have a very nice visit and always nice when they can drop in.

After they left did not take us long to wind down relax. And head off to bed. We both got a very good night's sleep me pretty well until 4:15 this morning No complaints here about that.
hey we had snow over night about 34 f this morning |
Because of the strong winds our satellite dish swung the head swung around at 7:30 this morning I bundles up and swing it back into position just so we could catch some of the morning news. Man its was cold out there. All the snow and ice accumulation, we not ready for yet. But this is fall and his is Canada mainly the reason we are heading further south buy now.
Shortly after 9 am George from M&G portables came to pump out our sewage. We did get to chat with him for a few minutes and will be here next Friday for our final pump next Friday. After we have moved then we can winterize the coach and storage if at Dennis and Sandy's for the winter.

Where have we been this Summer ?
Nice that family is taking advantage of having you close by to come visit. No comment on that white stuff on the motorhome and car.
ReplyDeletePaula, It is nice to see them, visit, and help us out, I don't like that white stuff either.
DeleteWhat a cute outfit your granddaughter #3 is wearing. With this colder weather coming you can be happy to be moving into an apartment, nice and warm and no worries. It's good that your medication seems to be working and you get pain free rests. Just take it easy and look after yourself. All the best.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marlene she is a cutie and loved her outfit the meds are doing their job controlling the pain and allowing me to sleep. Gotta take care of me for sure. The apartment will be nice and cozy thanks.
DeleteGlad you are resting, though I guess the satellite dish business was not exactly a picnic. Hope you are having another good night.
ReplyDeleteI am resting well thanks . The dish only a quick 2 minutes no big deal. I did have a pretty good nigh thanks
DeleteThat sure was a wild night wasn't it? Lots of power outages here in the Ottawa Valley/East Algonquin area!
ReplyDeleteIt was a wild night but no power outage the we noticed.
DeleteWe are RVers, but not full time and been following your blog for a few years. So sorry to hear about your illness. You may want to read this blog: mycancerstory.rocks. We know 5 people who are now cancer free after doing this protocol. I just felt I needed to let you know about this off-the-shelf procedure. Prayers for you and stay strong!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip I will check it out.
DeleteThanks for following us along in our travels.
Winter seems way to anxious to arrive this year. Good to read you are resting when you need to. Though going out in the cold and snow to take care of the satellite dish does not sound like a fun activity.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Winter does seem like it is in a hurry to welcome is back. Am getting lotsa rest. Taking care of the dish no big deal 2 minutes and good again.
DeleteThis is so wonderful to read you are finally sleeping well and resting during the day as well. I was hoping the snow would hold off until you were settled in your place. But winter comes when every it wants to. CO. got some snow already. Your granddaughter looked so adorable and of course your grandson also looked good.
ReplyDeleteSleeping well, resting and pain free is wonderful, at least the snow did no accumulate yet. Nice to see them a bit more often now.
DeleteSounds like your weather for t or t was similar to ours. We certainly aren't ready for this. Glad you're getting a place that takes care of the snow removal for you. Glad you're taking it easy and getting rest.
ReplyDeleteYup we getting some snow but at least not accumulating yet and not having to worry about snow removal a deal for sure, resting is needed right now,
DeleteSeeing the Grands is certainly an upside to staying in Canada this winter. Always a bright side.
ReplyDeleteStay warm. We're heading further south on Sunday. Hope we find warmer weather. -12 the other morning here near Albuquerque.
We learned years ago much lower elevation at this time of year than ABQ. Always said south of I-10.
DeleteI used to really enjoy the costumes on Hallowe'en night and would dress up myself to greet them.
ReplyDeleteCute Granddaughter, too bad about the weather. Nice you got a visit though!
Glad you enjoyed the Jell-o, got things taken care of and relaxed too.
I too used to enjoy dressing up. Now leaving it for the young un's. We can't control the weather but we can still have fun
DeleteYou guys are ready to now travel and wish you safe travels and good weather.
Day by day and things get done eh George. We're a bit further away from our move, but are getting into countdown mode. We're so lucky to have a good place to stay at our Waterloo daughter's house for now (especially when looking out the window), but are so looking forward to getting settled in our own home base again. I'm sure you'd rather be healthy and on the road again, but hopefully that will come. Gord.
ReplyDeleteyes Good one day at a time and things will get done, nice that you have a good place to stay right now,. in Waterloo with this colder weather, We are cozy in our coach for now bur will be glad to get moved in as well. First time off the road in over 13 years.
DeleteYes would rather be healthy and still travelling , so much more of the great country to explore . With a lot of preyers and good luck that will happen again.
Oh my ... those icy pictures had me shivering!!! Love the costumes!! Too cute! You've given me a great idea for dinner!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteyes Nancy they make me shiver as well. These meat pies ar an easy alternative and tasty.
DeleteNothing like a little snow in October to remind us winter is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteYeah right we were hoping to avoid snow, but I guess is not happening this year.
DeleteGlad you had another good night!!! Your “grands” are adorable!!! Love the costumes!! I’m also glad (although heading to warmer places would be nice) that you got to see those “grands” on Halloween!!! Always always always something to be thankful for!!! Take care!!!🙏🙏🙏
ReplyDeleteThanks Guys it was a very good night, warmer weather would be nice but not gonna happen this winter, see the grandson a big bonus though.
DeleteNow that was a fun surprise. Cute GD. Hey you are cooking again. Good job. Yikes about the satellite dish. I assume that Suzie has already signed you up for cable, etc at your new home.
ReplyDeleteIt sure was a fun surprise yes she is such a cutie. That happens with the dish sometimes when it gets real windy . Oh yes Suzie had our cable, unlimited internet, home phone, PVR being installed friday everything included $89. a month no installation fees, no extra charges a fantastic deal because this is a new building install about the same cost as we paid for our Satellite dish only,
DeleteThat is an amazing price for all of that. Guess you will have to buy a telephone or two.
DeleteNo they also supply us with one cordless phone and we still have one of our own.
DeleteGeorge and Suzie - I have been away in Terlingua and finally got a chance to catch up on your blog for the past couple of hours. Only got up to this blog entry but hoping to read more tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that you have a great family and equally nice friends and bloggers that have taken the time to come and visit even bringing their pets to give Suzie her doggie fixes. Know that you must have done something very good in your lives to have so many people rallying behind you.
Glad you were finally able to see your grands dressed up for Halloween. Sending hugs and good vibes to you both and know that your readers are behind you. Best wishes.
