Where are we today?
Stratford, Ontario
Not much to report. On Saturday his sister, brother-in-law and brother came for a visit. Geo was up in kind of lazy boy chair. It was a very nice visit.
On Sunday my brother, sister-in-law and father also came for a visit. The family has offered to help me out. Today they went shopping to get some stuff we need for the winter. Snow shovel and stuff to melt the ice that has been surrounding our car. They also brought a blanket, similar to the one my sister-in-law made for me, for Geo to keep him warm.
As you can see I finally figured out how to get pictures on the blog. Geo explained it to me and this was my first attempt.
Thanks for all your prayers and positive thoughts.
Nice to see George with that ever present big smile on his face.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the exact same thing that Al did. Nice to see you George! Still smiling. xo
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear about all the visits and all the help you're getting, Suzie.
Great smile there George, just sitting here on Manitoulin listening to all the hunters out there in the COLD. The Aljoe boys are part of that group. Good luck to them. Take care Shelley and Larry.
ReplyDeleteNice to see that George still has his happy go lucky smile through all of this.
ReplyDeleteWe are happy that you both have family close by to come for visits and to help you and George both out getting you settled into your apartment and for emotional support.

ReplyDeleteEven though it has been said, it is worth repeating, we are so happy to see pictures of George's smile. What a nice blanket for keeping warm. The question is, why is it always so cold in the hospital? I am sure there is a logical answer but when you are laying there freezing it is not much fun.
