Where are we today ?

Another very mild night 52 F at 5 am a nice sunrise starting and getting quite warm already, Had my shorts on for my first walkabout at 7:30 this morning. Got just over a mile walked almost getting hot for this in the intense sun.
Then by 8:30 a quick drive to Ajo for some Antifreeze for the car rad. and a few groceries. The rad light come on for the rad fluid level. I checked it and added about 1/2 a cup of distilled water and I headed out. I could not find a quart of antifreeze and did not want to carry around a whole gallon of it. Just to add enother 1/2 cup. So will keep a close eye on it.
Back home by 9:30 and chatted with a friendly neighbour for a bit then soon time for a light lunch. Now at 11 am is a nice comfortable 76F in the shade and will get hotter as the day progresses. No problem we have a nice shady spot under our awning.Now took a drive around some of the dirt roads here in the park with the AC on in the car, yup its getting hot yeah loving it!

Now dishes done our neighbour playing Taps time for a sunset photo. So I got that, Thanks neighbour.

Where have we been this Winter?
The weather is going to turn on us again high winds Wed. and Thur. but in the 80's then Friday high 60's with rain oh well I'm still going hope Sat. will be nice. Enjoy the weather out where you are Talk at you Sat. night

DeleteYou mention that a lot of these sites have sheds. Are people allowed to place sheds in BLM land?
ReplyDeleteThat restored Airstream looked like one featured in "RV Flip". Good to see Suzie back in shorts.
Ms. B this is not BLM land it is an actual a campground no electricity and over 650 very large sites,The ones with shed are rented on a yearly basis. they do have washrooms, showers, water taps, dump station, garbage dumpsters, clubhouse, library and free wifi, reason able at $42.00 a week or $125.00 a month, $650. for 12 months.
DeleteSuch a cool place to camp out ... well, not cool in the summer, but that's pretty cheap rent for a year. I'm glad the weather has turned a corner ... at least for now.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very nice place to camp out if you are equipped for boon docking. And the weather is wonderful gonna cool down a bit but that is still pretty good,

DeleteThose shinny Airstream units sure look great, I've never had to follow one on bright sunny day in the desert with the reflections. I always wonder if that wold be a problem. The prices there are pretty darn good and the services they offer are most the things a snowbird needs.
ReplyDeleteDo love these older Airstreams that have been polished , don't think that would be a problem following one unless you were too close. It is very reasonable for all the services you get here while boon docking .

Are those permanent sites? I saw the shed and I wonder if they bring them down just for the season. Just curious. Looks like great weather.
ReplyDeleteThey are year round sites and can eave them her all year. We do love the weather here. Not far from Mexico either.
