Where are we today ?

Another great sleep but I slept fast again, did not go to bed until 10 pm, late for us, But here I am up again at 4:30 this morning. Feeling all nice and refreshed. Got my routine coffee, oatmeal and computing taken care of, Started a pot of chicken soup boiling, the bones from our chicken the other night, As this was making a nice broth I enjoyed a very nice walkabout this campground as the sun was rising. Nice and quiet here warming up nicely. 65 F by 1030 this morning clear blue sunny skies and next to no wind, perfect. Time for shorts again. What a wonderful day.

A very nice laundry room here 8 washers , 10 dryers. some washers only a dollar a load.
Back home finished making the soup and we enjoyed some for a tasty lunch and of course more left overs. More lunches.

After this I took a drive across the interstate to check out the Worlds largest casino right here. It is amazing, we have been here before and plan to go there tomorrow, wander about and have lunch this place is HUGE! A few pictures around the outside. today.

Back home to enjoy a wonderful afternoon ready in the sunshine and fresh air with my sweetie. A bit windy but we were sheltered from the wind in front of our coach , perfect!

They have had a water issue today so was shut down off and on during the day , but finally got the leak repaired and good to go again, Glad we have water in our fresh water tank.

For supper tonight I had a half pork loin roast, to carve. Good deal , cut it up, I got 4 pork chops, and 2 pork roasts out of it.

Supper done, garbage, done and we calling it night inside, but did manage to catch an early sunset at 7 pm. So thought it was good time to head on inside, for the night, wrap up this posting and become couch potatoes for the rest of the night just because we can.

Yes Deb its sure is and fun to walk through, checking out all the different cities. This is a nice park we enjoy sit here.

DeleteJust think, you and Suzie are just down the street from "Rio" and "Vienna." Who says you have to go through 10 to 12 hours flying time to visit those places! LOL!

DeleteP.S. The tree (from what I can tell from your photo) looks like a mature and very old Tulip Tree; they are the first to bloom with the first hint of spring and then during the summer they neither produce leaves nor blooms.

ReplyDeleteIt is an amazing Casino worth a visit. The park is nice and clean I am sure would be busy in the summer. It was a wonderful day and the Casino tour is fun.
DeleteHaving a membership for those nice parks really has its perks and I would enjoy staying there too. Whenever those pork loins are on sale I grab them too and get so much out of them. Looked good on your BBQ and bet it was yummy.
ReplyDeleteWe make good use of our memberships and have paid off big time over the years for us. The pork loins are a real bargain on sale and yes it was very yummy.

DeleteWe always keep our water tank topped up when on the road. Leave that old Newell, they are the best.
ReplyDeleteIn many campgrounds over the years they can have water issues, with repairs and no water so we always have water in our tank too.
