Wow what happened, I slept in! This is a rare occasion for me, got up at 6 am, 2 hours later than I usually do most days. At this time it was 38F outside and no wind gonna be an awesome day.Did not get outside to see the sunrise but could view from inside and with these clear blue sunny skies I headed out for my first walkabout at 8 am. And my first mile of the day. Now this is the kind of weather we enjoy here and going to get warmer as the days progress.
After a tasty light lunch another walkabout and a drive around the desert here for a bit. Checked out the LTVA area behind us to see if I could locate our friends Jean and Skip. They told us where they were but did not find them on previous lookabouts. I finally did locate them stopped to exchange phone numbers something we have never done, now at least we can contact each other.

Where have we been this Winter?
The Border Patrol drags those tires, as you say, to smooth the surface along the roads and the popular trails near the border. They then can go back and look for tire tracks or footprints. It's been a while, but I used to leave them tire tracks to find and follow :)
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful day!
Have seen these tires in various places along the border but have never seen them dragging tithe tires. I was driving around so maybe gave them something to follow.
