Where are we today ?

Clear cloudless skies over night allowed for the unseasonably cold weather to settle in again overnight. It was 32F at 4:30 this morning, and our blue flame heater warmed us up very nicely. As the sun was rising to warm up the day, it was only 33F, Again too chilly for my liking for an early walkabout. 
Appointment at Rv lifestyles was for 10 am and I pulled the coach in at 1o:20 This wonderful welder (same guy as last year, welded the broken support solid and reinforced the other support, straightened the heat shield and painted the welds so they don't rust, done in 30 minutes, Total cost was $50.00 a good deal they always treat us fairly here.

Headed back to home dirt stopped at the dump station to dump our sewage a top up our fresh water. So we will be good for another 10/12 days. Suzie was there waiting and we quickly got set up again, then a light tasty lunch.
Then I whipped into town for a few groceries, fill our RO water jug and back home to relax in this lovely very warm sunshine out of the wind, our coach blocks it well when it comes from the right direction and it did.

It actually turned out pretty good and enough for another meal.

ReplyDeleteGlad the sun was warm enough to be able to have one last Happy Hour outside. It has been fun being in this beautiful place with everyone and we leave with wonderful memories.

I think you found a great place to get your welding done and at a very fair price. I love reading about your happy hours with your friends...I can only look forward to them once a year when I go to Terlingua. May you have a safe trip to your next adventure location.

Kelly no traffic at all, we were there at 9:30 pulled the coach into the bay at 10:20 pretty quiet here in Quartzsite now after all the crowds have left.
Deleteok, good to know. We have an appt. next week for them to look at our waterpump and kitchen faucet that got busted by "one of the users" :) Kelly Will be interested in your Borrego report. Let us know how Verizon is there too.
DeleteThose guys will treat you right there at Rv Lifestyles. Not much traffic any more at least what it was like a couple weeks ago. Our Verizon always worked at Peg Leg, not a place you like though, Will Let you know.
