Perfect summer day, and family fun on Friday.

Where are we today ?

            Just a beautiful peaceful friday morning here. Walkabout down  by the water can hear the bullfrogs  out there somewhere but can't find then.

Love the peaceful early morning walks.

           Then into Buckhorn pick up a few groceries, gonna have company today. Daughter number 1 and 3 grands.

       The down the street to see if any boats  at the lift lock number 31.

        Yep a few nice houseboats here with the residents enjoying life on the water while having their breakfast.

         Back home we relaxing waiting for the crew to arrive, and the Shaw Satellite people to show up with the new L and B for our satellite dish.
         Well the family arrived and perfect weather right along with them too. Sunshine and temps in the mid 70's (24c).

      Just a short 2 minute walk and we are at the pool. Not too busy and the water temp was 82f very nice and refreshing.

      Now back home dry off while we put together supper.

Hot dogs, spider dogs, crackers, cheese, chips and dip
for a  quick easy tasty supper

        And while having supper the satellite guy arrived with the new L and B, a 2 minute install and now works perfect again.

still have more energy to burn

     Then play and chat a bit more as the fire burned down,  and the grands began to yawn. Gonna be dark soon. Time for Mom to pack them in the car for the 2 hour drive back home, Daddy should be home from work by then.

So nice to see them with this wonderful weather

        That was our fun filled day, the young un's sure keep ya going.
