Where are we today ?
Now this is heaven, we both love it here so peaceful and quiet. Early morning walkabout town, coffees, chat with Suzie, into New Hamburg for my yearly hearing test and adjust my hearing aides.
Picked up a few groceries and home for nice light lunch. The usual fruit and veggies.

Perfect weather temps about 80f (26c) oh yeah ! Puttered around for a while then hopped on the Ferris Mower to finish the lawn mowing here. The last 3 acres done in about 90 minutes.

Now that is done by about 3 pm time to hop in the pool and cool down. Perfect, the water about 80 f , and oh so refreshing, no crowds here just me and Suzie.

Reading time for a bit now, in the shade, a nice cool breeze enjoying another novel on our e-readers.

Suzie back to see her Mom over dinner while I prepped ours. Tonight a couple Cod Fillets on foil with olive oil, Old Bay spice and fresh lemon .

Such a nice relaxing day we had and hope for a few more too.

Glad you felt that energetic. That is a lot of grass to cut. You are right that is a great place to stay but you might need the AC this coming weekend.

It's about time.
Not gonna be that hot that we need the AC, besides we have a nice pool here, shade trees and always a cool breeze.
DeleteNot enough power for the AC unless we fire up the genny, but not likely.
It is amazing to me that you are in such a lovely place when I look at the one photo and see side-by-side houses. How blessed y'all are.

Crikey ...... that place looks perfect. How come you get to stay there? It doesn't look like a van park. Is it a friends home? That'd explain why you mowed the lawn. 26C ...... how good is that!! Perfect. I'm slowly freezing to death here. We've had a real cold snap.

DeleteThat looks a great spot and a pool too. Think of me slogging away in the office. Our weather is heading back up to 24 or so. We were 33 a couple of weeks ago then it fell to 16.

Absolutely gorgeous. It's nice and peaceful here also but that's because everybody is inside trying to survive the heat. I would love the fact there is nobody else around.
