Cooler today, but still not too bad, visit our Moms and putter around. See our new hats too!

Where are we today ?
        What can I say? Just more amazing weather.  Kinda cool for us only in the low 80's f  (27c) but sure beats the cold. As Alan mentioned on a comment today it s easier to cool down than it is to warm up.
       Love the early morning walkabouts this morning I headed out just before 7 am , so peaceful it is.
       I meant to take some pics of our new hats we picked up at the St. Jacobs Market on Saturday . So here they are.

         Suzie's new hat is packable and no rim at the back, great for a suitcase or in the car.
         Ran a few errands and had a light lunch then headed into Waterloo for Suzie's doctor appointment at 11:45. While I am waiting for her, did a nice walkabout the area. Old town Waterloo and so many wonderful old homes here that are well maintained. Here is a sample of just a few below.

         After here go visit my Ma about 12:30. Brother Chris and Sis Lou was there. Had a wonderful visit with them then headed back home so Suzie could be at an appointment discussing her mom's health care in New Hamburg.
         I had a few more projects here (even got to read for 1/2 and hour too) to keep me busy then whipped up supper for when Suzie returned.
         Tonight grilled smoked pork chop, fresh tomato with garlic goat cheese ( love these garden fresh  tomatoes) added to our salad , it was excellent again !

         After supper daughter number 2 dropped in with the grands for a few minutes, just to say hi and check out a new project we may have for them.
          That again was a great day, busy and productive , but not hot enough for the pool. Like it to be over 90f to hit the pool.
         Glad that you took the time to stop on by and just know you had a wonderful day too.

    I love those old houses.
    Did you two every think of becoming hat models? Just a thought...hehe

      The old houses are wonderful.
      Hat models? Not likely but we do love our hats, sun protection and all.

    It's wonderful to visit with family. Enjoy the time you have because it won't be long and I'm betting you'll be heading south. That hitch-itch got you yet?

      Always want to go somewhere, don't like staying in one place too long.
      Hitch -itch...Not too bad yet , cause we move about every week or two, looking forward to this years journey.

    Like your new hats and enjoyed your pic's of the old homes. Had to find some goat cheese with garlic today and give your tomatoes a try we both loved it Simply Awesome!

      Thanks , glad you enjoyed the tomatoes on the grill, lots of interesting things can use the garlic goat cheese for.
