Where are we today ?
After a couple really nice days here, today looks like rain showers and overcast. Now we don't have a problem with that always can find things to do that we save for rainy days.Got my early morning walkabout town, just a fine mist in the air, no big deal. Stopped by the garage chat with the guys for a bit and back home.
The Plattsville United Church, a block from our last house in town |
Drizzly most of the day but not too cool, so we did manage to read outside for a while.
Our friend Leah was home this afternoon so whipped up there for a nice visit with her and the dogs. First visit this year I believe.
nice to see Buddy and Molly again Suzie got her doggie fix |
We had missed her 50th birthday party back in May (day before mine) and she hit a milestone (50 years old), we both remember ours, long time ago ! So we had to drop off this t-shirt had picked up for her. Only turn 50 once and she is looking good!
After a wonderful visit back home to whip up supper. Because it was supposed to a be a miserable day I had planned an indoor meal for a change, before it gets too hot for the weekend coming up. So tonight shrimp and scallops in alfredo sauce with fettucini, a salad and we split a fresh Kaiser bun from the bakery with garlic goat cheese.this what we used |
special treat we even had a glass of wine as well |
Next couple days gonna be hot ones lotsa sun, no rain and I am sure we enjoy those even more.
Hey, thanks for stopping by again hope you had a great day too.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Spring and Summer.
The planning of our travels is always fun. Perhaps, it's even the most fun.
ReplyDeleteYes you are right, its all fun, then just want to get out there and do it.
DeleteCrikey .... fish one night, prawns and scallops the next. You're on a bit of a seafood roll, aye??
ReplyDeleteWe do love our seafood.
DeleteThe weather guessers are telling us we can expect some nasty weather for the next couple of days.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Maybe nasty for you but this is the kinda weather I love. Sunny and hot, we have shade from the big willow trees, a bit of a breeze and a dip on the pool every so often. No a/c here unless we fire up the genny.
DeleteNo rain down here in my part of Texas, but HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
ReplyDeleteGetting hot here now.
DeleteYummy looking dinner. As to future travels, at least you can plan now and see how things go. I'm sure it will all work out.
ReplyDeleteWe plan and then see how it goes, like usual.
DeleteSo you actually do cook without your Weber.
ReplyDeleteYes I do, but not very often when I can help it.
DeleteHave not figured out how to cook pasta efficiently on the Weber yet.
