Where are we today ?

        Yesterday's afternoon rain showers cooled things down a bit and only in the low 70's f (23 c)  today. But heck the sun is shining and not much wind we will take that no problem.
        Usual early morning walkabouts, chat with a  few people and just enjoying this excellent summer weather. This morning we did some major  purging and re-arranging inside our coach. The new cupboard I built after the TV removal is getting well used. Nice to get things more organized, We have been living in this coach for 9 years now so nice to go through things once in a while.
        Then a bite for lunch, and I set to work to make some sausage rolls with puff pastry. Very easy to do and a real hit for an afternoon snack at a social hour or so we had planned here with some friends. Only do this for a happy hour makes 36 snacks, more than we would ever eat in a very long time. For the recipe click HERE or recipe blog on my top right sidebar.

          John and Barb here from their house in Buckhorn, George and Rose from Nevada, Emile and Monique from Bancroft Ontario. We all here at the park except John and Barb, they just up the road. Think the last time we all met up was in Pilot Knob California a year or 2 ago. So nice to get together again and catch up.

yep we had a fun couple hours.

          By 5 o'clock everyone headed home to fend for them selves. For our supper quick and easy. We had picked up a package of pre-cooked ribs last saturday at  Giant Tiger. Full rack Maplewood smoked and slow cooked ribs only $7.00. Just need to thaw out and heat on the grill for 10-15 minutes on low. Sure can't beat the price for the ribs, so very tender and tasty.

 Now thats good fast food,
just warm on the grill 

just add a salad and no problem done
and tasty

         Another fun day with great weather, and social times with friends, whats not to like about that?
