Where are we today ?
Again another wonderful hot day temps to 30 c (86f) but feels like 40 c (104 f) same temperature as Quartzsite Arizona ! But the bonus here is it will not last and does cool down at night.Early morning walkabout town before 8 am today and chatted with a few people have not seen for a while. Then came across good friends Marc and Erin out front. Daughter Julie stopped by and wanted Dad to remove the hard top from her jeep and put on the convertible. So we set to work, remove the hard top and work on the soft top. All is going well until we find out have a few parts missing. Oh pooh !
looking good so far |
hard top off but some parts missing |
Back home for a light lunch. We have a nice shady spot to relax and some cool breezes. We also have this wonderful pool here that we dipped into a couple times today as well. Just puttered around getting a few things done, enjoy our e-readers and spend time with my Suzie.
Around 3 pm clouds came over and we had a major downpour for about 15 minutes the skies cleared and sun back out, at least it did not cool things down.
Shortly after 4 o'clock Suzie go visit her mom over supper them back here, and we can enjoy our supper together, a bit later than usual but at least we can enjoy it.
Tonight gonna grill some turkey garlic sausage, we picked up at the market on saturday that we have come to really love. (gotta stock up for the winter). Fresh local corn on the cob and a grilled tomato with garlic goat cheese added to our salad was wonderful.
That was our relaxing day here, enjoying the heat like we usually do.
Thanks again for stopping in for the visit, ya know where we are if you around stop by.

To bad about the top...
ReplyDeleteAnd supper looks delicious!
Thanks, it was tasty.
DeleteShe was so looking forward to the soft top too,
We've had hot weather and humidity most of the summer. I'm a little tired of it. I wish the temperature would return to "perfect".
ReplyDeleteIt will cool down soon for for you, I don't ever seem to get sick of this hot weather, maybe because it is so short lived and the cold winters are so long.
DeleteOur west coast weather is emulating your Ontario weather. Hope you keep cool.
ReplyDeleteWe can always find ways to keep cool, never a problem here.
DeleteAnother day of enjoying the good life.
ReplyDeleteYes it sure was !
DeleteDon't think I could handle the humidity for very long.
ReplyDeleteWe don't mind it especially when we can hop in the pool whenever we like.
DeleteThose early morning walks are sure a great start to your day. Glad you are enjoying the warm weather always more fun to try and cool down then it is to warm up especiallywith that beautiful pool. Those sausage look and sound awesome! your whole meal looked delish! Enjoying our time as well here in BC I have a good supply of the Chalet diupping sauce now as it has been a while. Have a Great Week!
ReplyDeleteYou are right easier to cool down than to warm up, thats for sure.
DeleteEnjoy BC and your supply of Swiss chalet sauce, we hope to get to BC this fall if all goes well.
