Helping friends move and enjoying great weather!

Where are we today ?

Another awesome day, the weather is getting better by the minute. Early morning frost then as the sun came up getting very warm. Yep lovin this weather.
We have a few projects that I can volunteer for today. Joe is disposing of his old metal garden shed and we are moving  a nice new "park friendly"  shed to Joe and Nancy's site.
old shed going to the dump
While waiting I helped Wayne for bit rebuilding some picnic tables, watched Ron repainting the wagon for the "Wagon rides".,every body keeping busy here.
Now we are at the site to move this garden shed. Lotsa help here, its a big one 10 ft by 12 ft.

Now Joe has a wonderful new travel traile, red neck style!
Now at Joe and Nancy's place, just slide it off the trailer and level into place.
looking good, now Joe has his "MAN CAVE"!
Now we back home to enjoy an awesome afternoon. Watching the birds on the roof of the cabin and enjoying our books in the shade, just lovin it!

Now again my favorite time of the day. Fire up our Weber Q to grill a couple cedar planked salmon we picked up the other day. Tried these in Texas and found them again here at a a grocery store the other day.
To the grill I added a jalapeño pepper for me, a couple fresh tomatoes topped with bacon and cheese, whipped up a rice pilaf and some cauliflower with cheese sauce for a very tatsy supper.
again hit the spot, made Suzie happy.
That's it for today fun for us and glad you could drop by for a peak.

  2. Our "never-wrong" weatherman is predicting that we will have gorgeous weather after the current showers pass by. So, we're guessing that we'll stop complaining for a while after Wednesday!

  4. Glad it is warming up for you, I still can't believe you had frost in the morning. I think it is warmer here than in Ontario which is pretty funny considering how much further north we are. That salmon looked delicious!

  5. I just have to laugh. Every time there is something outdoors going on like moving a shed, changing a tire, etc. it seems to draw the men out. Must be a bonding thing...lol

We love planked salmon. We get it at our grocery store here in Ohio...yummmmmy!

  7. I don't think I've ever seen that Cedar Planked Salmon in our stores here. Lots of fresh salmon of course, guess I'll have to buy my own cedar plank!

Hard to get good salmon and decent cedar planks, so this works great for us.

  9. I agree with Rick, never seen it pre planked like that. Of course we do have great salmon here in BC and cedar planks are to be found at Costco.
