Sat. Aug. 27th Another great day

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,

 since August 2006

        Today is our last day at Sturgeon Woods Campground and Marina in Leamington a nice new addition to our R.O.D. membership campgrounds. It has been great to spend the week with our friends, sightseeing, visiting, sharing meals, campfires and stories.

       After this mornings coffee and computing, a bike ride around the campground by the marina, with a beautiful view and mirror images in the water.

        Then a short ride to the Lake and the peaceful calm waters there now, compared to a few nights ago when we had a tornado watch.

        Then we rode over to say goodbye to our friends and wish them safe travels, see you in October. A quick trip to the store then back home to relax and putter around for the rest of the day.

        We read in the shade, its an beautiful hot day (love summer), packed up a few items here and there as we finished with them, on the road tomorrow. Soon its time to fire up our Weber Q100 to magically cook our chicken to perfection (love our Weber). While we read in the shade for 1 hr and 15 minutes.

       When it was just about done I heated up the rest of our creamy whipped potatoes, broccoli with cheese and our Swiss Chalet dipping sauce. So tasty and we will have some leftovers too.

        Now to relax outside with our books to read some more, the days are getting shorter now, had to go in before 8:30 pm, no more campfires and late nights for while now.
