Where are we today ?

The afternoon thunderstorm yesterday really cooled this very warm weather we have and rain off and on pretty well all night. At 6 am was 60 F and drizzling off and on pretty well all day long. So did not feel like a walkabout. But did run a few errands in Forest for a couple of food items as well and some birthday and Christmas cards for the grands.Back home for a light tasty lunch then I took the laundry Suzie had sorted to the laundry mat in town to let the machines do their magic with 2 weeks worth. All done and folded in less than 90 minutes while I enjoyed my e reader, sure makes the time pass quickly.
Then home again and Suzie puts it all away. Gotta love this teamwork. Then enjoying some nice reading time outside . Still about the same overcast and drizzling, but with our awning deployed, and some long pants we can enjoy the fresh fall air.

| ss chicken over the noodles and some sesame seeds on top what a feast we had, no leftovers. |
We had a very nice day getting more things taken care of but only 2 miles walked, Heck better than none.

ReplyDeleteYes dinner was very tasty a nice treat I have been craving . Happy hour fun with Tucker and of course Gerry and Melinda. Don't mind dong laundry when it can all done it a very short time very couple of weeks.
DeleteGeorge, do you know what breed Tucker is? We have been looking for another puppy to replace our two dogs after they lived a full life. We said we would never get another after our son went off to college because we become so attached and the loss is difficult to overcome. But we have been looking and thinking about replacement, and yes, they are a lot of work but brings us so much enjoyment.

DeleteDee , I found out about Tucker's breed, he is part shih tzu and part schnauzer. Don't know if that helps. He is a character and has a personality. fun dog, for sure.

Supper looks good, I'll have to do that with rice. :)
It was nice to get the laundry taken care of, with a decent day. Much cooler today, Suzie wanted the noodles, but is very good with rice as well.
DeleteI'm still looking for Christmas cards. I pre do about 24 or more cards for Colin's Mom that need to be mailed every two weeks from here while we are in Mexico. Still looking for Christmas, the dollar stores here are all about Halloween.
