Where are we today ?

A very good sleep last night 9 till 5 am with only 3 nature calls, Heck its about time lets see if I can keep that up to help build my strength and feel better. For 9 am we had a follow up doctors appointment with our family doctor in Stratford to go over the procedure and renew some prescriptions also get her to sign for a Handicap permit for our car. I really need it right now with my limited walking ability low energy and balance.
Then a quick stop at Canadian Tire to pick up rims for our snow tires, next New Hamburg for prescriptions, and the handicap permit for the car. Thank goodness Suzie driving me around.
Back to Tavi for a tasty light lunch, I had a protein bar, ensure, more water and almonds and walnuts. Then a relaxing afternoon but for me Suzie she spent a couple of hours on the phone trying to arrange a U-haul trailer, then eventually SIL Sandy suggested we park the coach at their place begin unpacking and put stuff in their garage until moving day. That will be a help, we can only do a bit every day as I burn out very quickly.
a nice sunny day but chilly |
we sat on the porch for a bit then I got too cold |

Thanks for dropping in for a virtual. I like when people can do that.

Where have we been this Summer ?
Yes, keep on dreaming and 'have fun in your brain'!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stew you know my CB handle years ago was "Daydreamer" I I could always make the come true.
DeleteHaving a Positive Attitude always helps one's dreams come true.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy the warmth of the apartment.
It's about time.
Dreams come true if you believe in them
DeleteOur apartment will be perfect.
Even on a slow day you guys get a lot accomplished. Thank goodness for SIL Sandy and her generous offer. You have a big, wonderful and loving family. You are a lucky man George!
ReplyDeleteAlway get a bit of something done every day,
DeleteI am a very lucky man thanks with amazing family members.
Nice that Sandy could offer you the garage as a staging area. I've never had the need to winterize the RV, and with your snowbird travels have you? I suspect you'll have the procedure in a future blog.
ReplyDeleteYour cheerful and positive personality continue to be reflected in the blog, sorry you energy is letting you down lately.
It was nice to use their garage as a staging area. I had to winterize the coach when I came back here from Palm Springs CA Jan 5 to 11 2015, when Suzie flew home to help her mom and dad, It is not a big procedure just needs to be done properly.
DeleteThank Jeff gott be positive , is there any other way? My energy will come back eventually, the sooner the better.
Keep it up, you're doing fine. Sounds like it was a good day. Sitting outside on the porch of a beautiful house with that motorhome that takes you on all types of adventures. We start our winter trip next Thursday.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy stopping by your blog. Cheers.
Thanks Chris like I said one day at a timed each one a bit better. It was a very good day, The sunshine on the porch for a bit blue skies, And our motorhome chomping at the bit to take us somewhere.
DeleteEnjoy your winter trip wherever you end up I hope to follow along.
Thank you for coming by here as well.
Glad you're getting some good rest but don't overdo it with all you have going on!
ReplyDeleteGetting some rest is imperative and we do pace ourselves nicely.
DeleteGreat idea Sandy. Will you be leaving the RV there anyway for the winter? This way you only have to move it once. That handicap permit is gong to be very helpful. I like your food choices. Protein is the main thing. Sleep well tonight.
ReplyDeleteWe thought about it the Sandy offered, This where we will store it anyway, This way we can take our time back things up to move not our apartment. Choosing things that I feel like eating, not our normal foods but some protein and a few calories is needed to keep my weight up and keep going. I have lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks don't want to loose anymore.
DeleteThat is great that you can move slowly. Keeping trying to get those calories in and keep up the positive attitude ... it will help you down the road.
ReplyDeleteEach day as it comes along. That is how I got through my challenge a few years ago. No one thing was terribly bad and at one point I rang the bell that signaled the end of treatment. Life got back to normal. Following to send healing thoughts as you work towards the same goal
ReplyDeleteI really like your apartment layout. With a walk out patio!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you had a good night sleep and hope it continues. It will help gain some energy back and you up beat attitude is also a big help. Keeping you and Suzie in my daily thoughts.
ReplyDeleteTaking it easy is certainly the best way to go. I love all the interesting food you have up there!! Rest up!
ReplyDeleteOne day at a time for sure. Sounds like you are getting things done and in place ready to move into that nice new apartment. Keeping you in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely you two are getting things done! Move in day will be here before you know it. That was nice of Sandy and her offer. :) That porch is definitely a great place for some well needed sunshine! Rest and food are definitely what you need!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, I have been following ya'll for years but never commented before now. I fully believe in prayer, so I am praying for your surgery and recovery. I start my day reading about your travels and you inspire me to start my day with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite quotes: "You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true." ~Richard Bach
ReplyDeleteOne day at a time with your positive attitude how can it not be true. Take care and rest when you have to. You and Suzie have a wonderful family supporting you.
