Wow, what another adventure! I woke up shortly after 11 Pm in lots of pain again, So Suzie and I bundled up and headed into Stratford Hospital. Had to go see more pretty nurses and Doctors, and surprising there is a a few there all night long.Gave me a room in emergency, intravenous and but this time they frozen the area before with a patch so was pretty painless.
A bunch of blood work and decided a Cat scan was need to check further, Unfortunately the Cat must be out roaming not back here until 5 am I did get a few shot naps then at 5 and they gave me some liquid taste like peach juice. I had to consume over an 2 hours tine frame.
The 7 am Cat scan one back in the room, they also gave Suzie a room with a bed rest, nice.
Wait for results the to see the Doctor, They were all tied up with a big emergency and waiting to air flight to London Hospital. I did manage a few naps all drugged up with no pain.

DeleteNever mind chasing pretty nurses in the middle of the night! Hoping you are pain free tonight and the DR will get you going with what ever treatment you need. Hugs to you and Suzie

ReplyDeleteIt is not easy to come to a standstil like this but I don't hav much choice right now, trying to manage the pain is the big thing at the moment and think maybe we have done so for now.

ReplyDeleteThanks guys for the thought , and positive is the only way to be.
DeleteHoping they can give you some meds that will help you out at home! That was sweet Daughter #1 came to visit and was able to take you tires for you. It'll be nice to get them on for the winter. Take care and we're thinking of you both :)
ReplyDeleteThey did prescribe some for me we just have to dosage right feeling better today, She was heading back home and knows Pettigrews for years ago, right here way,. want to get them on asap.
DeletePain is awful. I've had a few in my life time...some physical and others emotional. It's also hard on our loved ones too. They feel helpless to help...I know cuz I felt helpless when my loved ones were in tremendous pain. All I could do was sing softly to them like my grandma use to do when she use to massage my temples to make the headache go away or muscle pain. It seemed to soothe me to sleep. Try putting on head phones and listen to soft music. It might help.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rita I will try not music but not very good when I am mostly deaf, I do like total silent though, thats easy for me. You feel helpless when others are I pain I know Suzie does.
