Where are we today ?

Another day with about the same sleep, got some Dreamland Herbal tea , that seems to help plus a meal supplement drink appears to be boosting my energy a bit. Finally up about 7am today after a couple hours awake in the middle of the night. Got some computing and meal supplement into me, (I like this chocolate), Then about 8:30 I headed in the Plattsville to chat with Dale about winter tires and rims, The Hardware store to fill our RO water bottle.Heading back home got a call at 9 am from Suzie my bloodwork request is at the Lab in New Hamburg, so I whipped by there to give them some samples. Leaving there got a message from SIL Sandy she had made some homemade soup for me, heck wow I am getting spoiled !
So I stopped by there to pick that up with many thanks. and home to have lunch with Suzie. At noon she went to pic up her Dad and take him for a doctor appointment in Kitchener.
While she was gone we had a propane fellow stop in to see it they could hook up a large propane tank to our coach for the winter. He needs to check some more but maybe not, because our appliances are not CSA approved for Canada? Hmm that sucks. he will get back to us though.
Then I relaxed in my recliner got some reading done and enjoyed the outside view, some sunshine and colors.
I do love my recliner we got last winter |
the view from my recliner |
Then for supper tonight a tasty boneless skinless chicken breast in the oven with Shake and bake, something we have not had for a long time to go with some rice a veggies.
This did the trick for me tonight light and tasty |
Thanks for joining us today and hope your day was good one as well.

Where have we been this Summer ?
A pretty relaxing day and yes, your recliner looks very comfortable.
ReplyDeleteThank Chris, I do love this chair, wish I felt better enough to enjoy more of it.
DeleteWhoot Whoot - a big win in the lottery! A down payment on your winter tires! Homemade soup is always good, even better when someone else does the cooking. The apartment idea maybe a good winter choice.
ReplyDeleteyes Jeff every little helps plus I have $135.00 in Canadian tire money to go towards the tires as well.
DeleteThe soup was excellent Sandy did a great job.
I like the idea of the apartment , just never know what will happen and at Least Suzie will be close to here family.
That was very kind of Sandy to make soup for you!
ReplyDeleteSis
Yes Sis it sure was, everyone's helping out.
DeleteStratford would be a good central location for you with easy access to London, Tavistock, and New Hamburg. I lived in Stratford from 1975 to 1995 and especially enjoyed the walks down along the river by the Festival Theater. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteYes Al Stratford is the perfect location , lots to see and do close to shopping hospitals and family. The river walks are wonderful and we have enjoyed the theatre there as well a few times.
DeleteTrying to feel better I am sure it will slowly happen.
Poco a poco, bit by bit the pieces are falling into place. Tomorrow promises to be a busy day for you but at the end of it it you will have some answers. A suggestion for an apartment, many Airbnb's offer furnished suites long term. Hers is a link for some in Stratford. https://www.airbnb.ca/s/Stratford--Ontario--Canada/homes?adults=2&children=0&checkin=2019-10-28&checkout=2020-04-30&source=mc_search_bar&place_id=ChIJs5e0kfmtLogR0B0jxyh7AwU&click_referer=t%3ASEE_ALL%7Csid%3A182cced1-619c-47ac-9beb-3a79d08d788c%7Cst%3ALANDING_PAGE_MARQUEE&title_type=NONE&refinement_paths%5B%5D=%2Fhomes
ReplyDeleteStratford is and expensive place with the Festival Theatre being so popullar they are pricey
DeleteWe hope that Stratford works out for you. It seems to have everything you will need. Glad the energy is improving.
ReplyDeleteThanks we hope so too Patsy it is a nice small city and does have everything we need.
DeleteYikes, I just looked at the prices, way over the top. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteYes they are over the top being the Stratford Festival Theatre here is such a huge draw.
DeleteI hope the apartment works out for you, and that you feel better soon, rest when you can, naps are important! Hugs
ReplyDeleteThanks Guys resting is good, wish I could nap but does not happen for me as hard as I try.
DeleteI hope the apartment works out for you. Did you buy your unit in the US? Is that why the appliances are not CSA approved? Or was it made in the states and that is why?
ReplyDeleteThanks Guys we hope so too. We bought our coach here but was made in the states.
DeleteYou have wonderful views from your great chair. An apartment might just be a good idea for the next few months over winter. Hope the search finds something you and Suzie can enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYes the country side views are wonderful. A cozy apartment will be nice for the cold winter weather.
DeleteThis place sounds perfect we will find out soon.
Shopping for winter tires is no fun......but necessary though.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure a nice cozy apartment would be cozier than the motorhome, but it will be hard to leave her all alone in the cold for the winter. She's part of your life.
A good deal on winter tires will help make life easier for us this winter.
DeleteGonna miss the coach but she will not e too far away.
Wow! Lots of things happening and changing too. Good thing you have such a positive attitude!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys things are coming together , gott keep positive to get through this mess.
DeleteLooks like a very comfortable recliner and you can not beat the beautiful views. Glad you are being pampered you deserve it.
ReplyDeleteThis recliner is very comfortable and the views wonderful as well.
DeleteLOL not used to this pampering.
A nice cozy apartment will be SO much warmer than your rig. I can't wait for snow pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteIt will be so much warmer for sure, I was hoping for no snow pictures , but will share what we have with you gladly.
DeleteThat was sweet of your SIL to make you soup! Again, I'm sure you've made soup for her in the past :) I hope the apartment works out for you, I can't imagine trying to keep on top of those temps in the coach brrrrr.. and who knows maybe you won't need it :) Those are beautiful views from your chair. Take care!
ReplyDeleteSandy did a wonderful job with the soup and yes I have made many pots of soup for them too. Love the apartments just need to be approved . We need an apartment soon any way may as well do it now when needed.
DeleteWishing you success with the apartment in Stratford and the medical tests ahead.
ReplyDeleteThank you guys all looks good so far and the tests moving quickly.
DeleteSometimes it is good to be spoiled. Sit back and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWe hope the apartment works out. It sounds like you will be central to everything and it I am sure it will feel good to be near family. Still sending good thoughts and prayers for you and Suzie. Take care.

DeleteOne day at a time.

May you have some good sleep and rest. And let go for a little bit of time and sigh and sleep. Sounds like all that needs to be done is being done. I am hoping for the best for you. Those lovely autumn trees are a great thing to see.
