Where have we been this Summer ?
Where have we been this Summer ?
Hey George I see they even let your hat into the emergency room. Your looking well despite all the ware and tare of these past few days. And wow meals in bed. You were living the life of Riley there. Always a great feeling to get home again. Glad to see the medical wheels are in quick motion. The quicker they can get working on your problem the better. I know how you feel about the uncertainty of your RVing future but keep your foot in the door and don't let anybody slam it shut on ya. Just keep those deserts and mountains in your mind:))
ReplyDeleteYes Al my hat goes where I go. The meals in bed were very nice but I found too large. Yup being waited on hand and foot, really not used to this, soon I can be me again. It is nice to get back into our home agin for sure.
DeleteI am glad they are moving forward on this quickly too Early detection and treatments make a huge difference. We will be keeping raving around as long as possible, one way our the other, that's for sure It really has been my life for over 50 years. Gonna miss those deserts and maintains this year, hopefully again. at least we have the blog handsome amazing memories.
I'm glad you're home. Hospitals are not a place to get any rest. We gave up our summer travels because of Jim's health but it really was a smart choice on our part. A hot hot choice but a good one. Praying by next year you and Suzie will be ready to head out.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to be home again , but glad they got me pain free while in the hospital. If we can't go south we still have lots of Canadian to explore.
DeleteAs Al points out I too noticed the hat!, where's the vest? Bet it feels great to be back home. Still expecting to have you both show up in the local desert. :)
ReplyDeleteMy vest was hanging on the back of the chair to my left. Sure would be nice to get back down there again this but think that will be possible, time will tell.
DeleteDon't give up yet. There's plenty of this year left. Who knows how soon they'll kick you out of there. Nothing but good luck, good thoughts and many prayers going your way.
ReplyDeleteGerry we have nit given up just putting time waiting for answers and treatment. Thanks for the prayers.
DeleteGlad you are home with Suzie, and have your pain under control. Good luck on the next tests, We will be thinking about you.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys always nice ti hear form you sure nice to be home with Suzie again. And waiting for the next tests.
DeleteGlad you're home. The uncertainty you and your family are feeling affects all your friends. I will be praying the tumors are benign and just blocking things causing your pain. Get a good night's sleep.
ReplyDeleteThanks Doug I am glad to be home again, nt sure what the future will bring but at least we still have a future.
DeleteThanks for the prayers my thoughts as well. I actually did get a very nice nights sleep.
Great to see you home George. Hope for quick response to tests and future appointments to get you back on track. Rest and take care.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill feels great to be home again, sorry we missed you wednesday night I was kinda not here, to say the least. The quick response and tests at London University hospital the best place to go. Rest now I am doing but still want to get a few things taken care of.
DeleteHey George chin up!! This would be a lot scarier if you were in a hospital in the southern USA with your fingers crossed that the health insurance would stand behind the hospital stay. Praying that all is well and that you are back on the road soon. I did notice that the hospital food even looked ok.
ReplyDeleteYes lorne you are so right better find out here before we cross the border. Thanks for the prayers and hoping to soon get back on the road again. The hospital for was actually pretty good, should have brought some of my spices along though lol.
DeleteJust read your post and I'm so sorry to hear that you're having medical problems. We will put you in our morning prayers and I hope the doctors take good care of you. Hugs from us
ReplyDeleteThanks guys wa shopping to catch up with you guys again in Yuma hopefully another time.
DeleteThanks for those prayers they are very welcome and appreciated.
Wow, George! Things can sure change in a hurry can't they. Wishing you guys good luck over the next while.
ReplyDeleteYes guys just never know what is around the next turn in the road do we?
DeleteGoos luck we will need and some good doctors here in London.
Happy your back home in your own house with Suzie to look after you. Canada doesn't waste time when something needs taking care. At least no matter where you park your home. Keeping you in my deepest thoughts for a quick recovery. Keep that wonderful smile bright!
ReplyDeleteThanks JO nice to be back home with my sweetie again, She is doing a wonderful job taking care of me too. When you need treatment like this they are right on the ball for sure. We are in our home here until it gets too cold the we need to find an alternative until spring. Thanks for the thoughts and I am hoping for a quick recovery as well. Already missing the desert.
DeleteSo happy to hear that you are out of pain. Now take the time to relax, rest and enjoy family on this Thanksgiving weekend. We are thankful that you are here and getting great medical care.
ReplyDeleteYes Contessa glad this happened here instead of down south somewhere. The best medical care right here at London university Hospital not far away.
DeleteNice to hear that you are back home and out of pain. Hopefully you get lots of rest and some tasty turkey (cooked by someone else) this weekend.
ReplyDeleteGlad to be back home and pain frees feels so good, Daughter #2 is cooking the Turkey for us Bless her heart she is such a wonderful young lady and mother.
DeleteGeorge, your ever present trademark smile reassures is everything is going to be okay. We all love you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gumo , gotta keep smiling and all will good right?
DeleteAnd we love you all too.
Glad to hear you are home once more with your "sweetie". Love seeing you smile while at the hospital. Even the food in Canada looks better than the one at our local hospital.
ReplyDeleteAt least you are in Canada and not in the USA where hospital stays are so terribly expensive. My best to you and Suzie.
Thanks Ms. B so glad to be home again with my sweetie by my side again. The hospital food was pretty decent, should have brought my spices though , LOL.
DeleteSo gale =d we are here and hour hospital stays and most treatments are covered under our health care system.
Glad to hear you are back home with Suzie...can't beat being in your own home. Think about you often, and keeping you in my prayers. It's good to see your smile.

Thanks for the prayers guys, gotta get this taken care of asap, they are pretty good at that here.
DeleteWe will enjoy our Thanks giving and you guys enjoy the southwest for us want to see lotsa pictures.
It is always better to be home! The most important thing is for you to work at getting well. Everything else is secondary. Tons of positive thoughts and energy being sent your way George. They will find the problem and fix it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Croft being home is always good, Getting well is the priority. The rest will fall in place.
DeleteThe positive thoughts and energy I can feel already, I am sure they will take care care of me wonderfully .
Just catching up on blogs George and certainly Cheryl and I join in to wish you a speedy recovery. The desert will be less colorful without you and Suzy to brighten our days.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thanksgiving and let others do the work.....under your supervision of course!
Thanks guys we are really going to miss the desert, and meeting up with lots of good people as well, but we have so many memories and wonderful pictures to look back on. plus all our blogger friends heading that way.

ReplyDeleteThanks guys, this was not in our plans for sure hopefully get things taken care of. Better to happen here that state side though.
DeleteGood to see you back in blogging action George. Like so many others we're hoping for a positive outcome. Early diagnosis sure helps improve your odds. G.
ReplyDeleteThanks Guys, nice to be home and blogging again.
DeleteEarly diagnosis is the best course of action for sure. Nice to see you enjoying New Mexico.
Glad you're back home eating real good food again. Think how much better that hospital food would have tasted if they let you cook it on your Weber grill! ;c)
ReplyDeleteThan Paul and Mardi back home only a but yet but tastes so much better, Idon'think think they would let me cook there at the hospital, I also think being retired is much more fun cooking for usually the 2 of us.
DeleteGet better soon and keep posting. I have a feeling you'll be heading to warmer climes sooner than later. Enjoy the weekend. Lots of positive energy heading your way!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris that is my plan lots family time this weekend and probably too much food. Sure would like to head south but not sure that can happen.
DeleteYou're looking altogether too cheerful in that hospital! Hope the further tests and doctors help sort it out.
ReplyDeleteLOL Stew they gave me some awesome drugs can't help but be cheerful.
DeleteAs you know London is a good place to go.
