A day long adventure in the sttratfor hospital

      No sleep again last night so when Suzie got  Up we headed into the Straford hospital Pretty quiet and was checked right in after all the paperwork A full battery of testes were done.Finalldone about 5 pm and right they are finding some tumors on my liver and pancreas . No goo so the next step i an appointment fir the CLIPAS clinic in London to do some biopsies.
      Just after 8 pm susie headed home and I tried to get a good nights sleep.

  1. Sorry to hear about your medical troubles. Hope they can fix you up and you can get on your travels soon. One thing I've learned about life is we are all going to get something eventually, no one gets out of it.

  2. WTH???? - Let's all hope/pray those tests come back benign! I didn't think you had a 'risk lifestyle' for the 'C' word. Tumor/blockage might be the cause of the pains, and I thought you were after those 6-pack abs!

  3. Sorry to read about this medical set back George and I'm hoping things will turn out alright for you. I don't know what the London Clipas Clinic is but between the Stratford and London hospitals our paths may very well cross sometime in the near future. Heck of a way to meet though eh...….

I've been on the verge of writing you a personal email about my great pleasure in finally getting a weberQ thanks to your postings and great photographs of delicious foods. I do love the little grill. Wouldn't have known about it without you. And that's a small thing in the big picture, but there you have it. I have so enjoyed following your blog with your photos and narrative, and am hoping for the best for you. Thanks for all of it.

  11. Wow George, so sorry to hear of you having health issues. Please don't let it be cancer.
    This is how health issues have taken me off the road from my adventures in traveling. Hope you come out better than me.

  12. Thank goodness you went to the hospital to get checked out. I'm sure that this is very frightening for you ( and for Suzie ) but hang in there. Tests and results are a good thing. As you always say, your plans are written in jello. Your departure may just may be delayed a wee bit. Hope you sleep in the hospital tonight.

    1. Glad I went to the hospital; as well, now he pain most gone> I am think our deprature will be quite a bit delayed but both remains to be seen yet. More testing and hospital trip ill set us bak for sure.

  35. Sorry to hear about your health problems, it's something we will all have to deal with sooner or later. I hope they get you fixed up quickly so you can get in your class A and head South, and this problem will be nothing more than a new story you can tell around the campfire.
