The weather cooled down last night, and another good nights sleep. About 7:30 this morning I headed out for a walkabout down river road and a few blocks around town. Enjoying some of the spring flowers in a few gardens. A nice refreshing 1.8 mile walk. I ended up with 3.6 miles walked today.another nice sunrise |
love these spring flowers blooming |
another nice garden |
Just over and hour and was all done. A cool east wind though with gusts to 30 mph, keeps things a bit cooler, no shorts today.
just cruising around the yard enjoying the scenery farms to the north |
heading west to our coach way back there |
the weeping willow is really weeping |
beautiful sunny blue skies , gotta love it |
This is where we sat out of the wind, enjoying the sun, reading and Happy hour |
I do enjoy his writing |
not long this was done 145F internal temp still moist and tender |
this hit the spot and lotsa leftover pork for lunches |
Now after supper it became overcast so no sunset viewing tonight, I am sure we will enjoy many more.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and see what kinda trouble these full-time rver's can get into. We been here almost a week, git things taken care of think we will mover on down the road about an hour further south would be good.

Where have we been this Summer ?
I like that moving an hour at a time. Each year I say I am going to move less distance but I still sjut cruise on for 6-7 hours or 300 miles. At least it is a natural feeling time span for me.
ReplyDeleteThese are nice travel days very relaxing and seeing some new scenery as well. When we head south with several thousand miles to cover we tend to drive much longer days.
DeleteNice wave cut on the lawn. I know the land owners love your staying there. That roast looked amazing.
ReplyDeleteLOL it is nice to add a little variety to the cutting. The roast was excellent thanks JO.
DeleteYou've certainly got the right mower for that job. Looks like a real beast and fun to operate. Puts my little push mower to shame. Lucky I only have about an acre.
ReplyDeleteYes Bob this is a commercial 3 wheel zero turn Ferris mower with a 61 inch cut and is a fun to operate. He used to have a smaller 36inch mower took me almost 7 hours to mow the yard .
DeleteI like the crust you got on the pork.
ReplyDeleteThanks Larry it sure was tasty.
DeleteThe flowers are beautiful!! So is that roast!! You've definitely got BBQ down pat!!
ReplyDeleteLove the spring flowers and the roast was excellent thanks.
DeleteIt was another nice day with full sun until around 5:30 the clouds moved in.
ReplyDeleteGood to get the grass cut before you move on down the road.
It was a wonderful sunny day no complaints here.
DeleteGlad I got the grass all done, before we headed out.
The yard looks beautiful there! Love the pics of the flowers growing around. Beautiful sunrise and a great looking dinner! YUM! Beautiful blue skies you had! Travel safely!
ReplyDeleteThanks it is very nice here the flowers growing and pretty good weather.Dinner was wonderful thanks guys.
DeleteSpring is definitely there. Now you just need some warmer temps.
ReplyDeleteIt is so, and warming up nicely.
DeleteI envy the landowner whose yard you mowed :-(
ReplyDeleteToo much rain here for the yard guy to come out with his tractor or he will leave deep ruts. The flowers are just beautiful as well as the green grass.
Your dinner sure beats the cereal I had this evening ((me shedding a tear))
I enjoy the lawn mowing and the wide open quiet place to camp, there was some wet area just a few days ago but they fried up. Nicxe to see the flowers and enjoy a tasty roast pork dinner.
