Cooler again last night at 39 F this morning but next to no wind today with clear blue sunny skies now this is more like it. A quick last trip to Yuma at 7 am for a few supplies, before we head out in the morning. Then showers, and Suzie sorted the laundry, which I took to the park laundry mat (teamwork) got that done and folded in time for and early lunch.heading into Yuma a the suntise's |
The rest of our day we enjoyed some wonderful warm sunshine out of the wind. Our thermometer read 74 f for a while in the shade and was feeling wonderful shorts and sandals on for a while just because I could and really enjoyed it.

That kind of thing just sickens me. That kid will be affected for the rest of his life. Safe Travels tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right should never have happened. Thanks Lorne.
DeleteOMG! Another death from an opioide overdose!, very traumatic for the son. Safe travels as you move on tomorrow. Heading toward the Q gathering?
ReplyDeleteYes I am sure it is, a terrible things to happen.
DeleteThanks Jeff we will eventually get to the Q and hang out.
So sad for the kid to find his dad like that. Wonder how he managed to get those drugs across the border. I thought you couldn't brind opiode's into this country anymore.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels
Jo, I thought the same thing! We do have an opioid crisis in this country. The medication starts out as pain killers from your surgeon or doctor and you ratchet up the dosage yourself for pain and crave more and more of them. I wonder if he was having or had some medical difficulties.
DeleteIt is a sad situation for sure JO. You can get just about anything you pretty well anywhere.
DeleteNo issues I know of other than he was diabetic.
Such a sad story but one that happens over and over every day. Will people ever learn?
ReplyDeleteSafe travels tomorrow.
It is sad but happens every day all over.
DeleteThanks Contessa.
Yes it is what it is, but sad for the child nonetheless
ReplyDeleteIt is sad for the whole family especially the child.
DeleteI don't think you can purchase opioids over the counter in Mexico without a prescription, unless he bought it on the street. Sad to hear. Hope to be seeing you guys soon.
ReplyDeletePeople can get these drugs for various sources, no matter now the damage is done.
DeleteYou are keeping busy and soon be heading out to the Arizona desert and hope it warms up for us and you.
I hope it warms up a little when we are there or I'll hear lots of whining from my girls.
ReplyDeleteIt should warm up depending when you get here, any idea?
DeleteEven when cool if the sun is shining it is pretty nice.
Such a sad story. I really wish our paths had crossed while you guys were in the area. Unfortunately we have another trip planned so will be unable to make BloggerFest this year, but we sure hope you all have a great time!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been nice to catch up. we will be around these areas for a few moths yet maybe another time.
DeleteEnjoy your trip wherever you go, that is what this lifestyle is all about.
Sorry we haven't seen you since Lins Skips root canal ddn't go well they found some infection on a root and they had to put a temp cover on it and and give him two kinds of antibiotics he goes back next friday, The antibiotics made him really sick, We will catch up with you if we get back to Q
ReplyDeleteOh my I sure hope he is feeling better soon and get things taken care of.
DeleteHopefully we will catch up again at some point this winter.
