clic a pic to enlarge it
Here we are again still in the desert and still loving it. After another good sleep up and at it just after 4 am temp about 42 f and gonna warm up nicely again. By 7:30 sun shining clearable skies and no wind ! Yahoo! Headed of for a nice refreshing walkabout and a nice 2 miles in home shortly after 8. Now this weather is more like it. Ended up with 3 miles walked today.
Just before 9 am I took drive into Q before any traffic and stopped by Hi Jolly Cemetery, just because I could, Keeps changing slightly every year. For some interesting History of Hi Jolly you can click this link HERE  . Then home again to hang out for a bit .
About 10:15 this morning we headed into to town to the QIA for the Canadian Potluck. A wonderful get together for all the Canadians that want to or can attend for this fun time.
we arrived about 10:30  took our pot luck to share and paid our 3 bucks each to
go towards the meat, potatoes and gravy they provided.
lotsa room here this year
We got door prize tickets and purchased  50/50 draw tickets. for the draw. It was made into to 2 prizes ended up $150.00 each  a nice bonus but we did not win.
lotsa door prizes
salads etc. so much food
Our table was called the 3rd one out of 10, the lines moved really fast and so many choices. Roast beef, mashed taters and gravy were provided and so much more. And we were invited to go back for seconds if we wished. a total of 193 Canadian here this year 42 or 43 I think from Ontario.
yes we enjoyed too much food
some of the door prizes
so many deserts as well
Once the door prizes and 50/50 draws were done shortly after 1 pm we all headed back to Blogger Fest. hosted by Shadowmoss. (aka Paula).  Here at La Posa south. A little late but we were there all 10 on us.
bloggerfest # 5
a nice group of bloggers and blog followers.
that can connect
So nice that Shadowmoss , arranged this Ramada and brought the signs. And wonderful to meet so many bloggers and blog followers that recognized me. About a total of 25 or so this year and so nice to meet some we follow and some we do not know but know us from the blog.
Shadowmoss  our figure head that had the new signs made
and arrange the Ramada for us.
Shortly after 3 pm we all headed on home, and what do we do? More social time Happy hour just because we can, at Rob and Pats trailer, sun sunshine and less wind. Now with a nice smaller group we swapped stories and lotsa laughs and carried on for a couple of hours. No need to rush home for super we had our feast for today at the potluck at noon.
another nice Happy hour
solving all the worlds problems
As the weather cooled down we got to enjoy another amazing desert sunset.
What a fun very social day for  all of us, lotsa food and runtimes. Soon time to head on home and call it a night.  No supper tonight a later snack of popcorn and shared an apple.
Thanks again for stopping on by and hope y'all had an awesomely as well.

  6. The food looked amazing! That's alot of people to turn out for that! Certainly would have been nice if more people could have turned out for Bloggerfest, but looks like a few new faces and that's a good thing. Happy Hour is always a good thing! Oh those sunset pictures are beautiful!!

  7. Good to see the Travel Insurance Buffet turnout. Many do not check to ensure their current insurance will cover while traveling. Your US readers should note that Medicare does not cover travel outside of the US.

Looks like a fair turn out at Blogger Fest
