Another good nights sleep and awaken to clear starlet sky. Puttered around for a bit, still chiller than I like for a walkabout so about 7:30am I made a trip to Blythe CA for some groceries we can't get here in Q. Stopped at Smart and Final. Rite Aid and Albertsons, then home by 10 am.
Whipped up a tasty light lunch some peameal Back bacon and eggs for a change.
first thing this morning
then a sunrise
heading to Blythe CA past Dome rock
After lunch I took a drive into to to visit Celia's Rainbow Garden for more information click HERE,  Just because I can , such a serene huge desert garden and memorials.
a nice display here a old country display
Back home to enjoy a very nice sunny warm afternoon in the shade of our awning and out of the cool north wind into our e-reader page turners.
love these clear  blue sunny desert skies
Then about 3 pm we got together for happy hour in the centre of our group and another couple blogger couple Rick and Cathy joined us as well. Nice to see them again.
another fun happy hour conversations, stories
and lotsa laughs
clear blue sunny skies, Bill and Patsy's flags
About 5 pm I headed home to begin supper, make our salad and grill a couple of boneless , skinless chicken thighs.
the sun was setting as I cooked supper
liking this BBQ sauce for chicken
another nice desert sunset
reflecting on the mountains to the east of us is wonderful
chicken done and we ready for a feast
yup was tasty and more leftover chicken for lunches
Just another wonderful desert day here in Quartzsite with friends. Can we ask for more? Don't think so. Not too cold, lotsa sunny skies no snow, no humidity and no bugs.
Thanks for dropping on by and hope y'all had a wonderful day as well.

  1. It was a great day again. The wind just seems to know when to join Happy Hour, doesn't it? Oh well, we persevere and enjoy it anyway!
Chicken thighs, my kind of supper. :)
We loved Celia's Garden when we visited it last year.

    1. It was a wonderful day loving the sunshine and warm weather , a cool breeze but nothing we can't handle. Any kn=ind of chicken works for us, I visit the garden most every year.

  2. The no bugs part is really important. Starting to think about getting an e reader, but which one?

    1. Yes the no bugs sure is nice. I really love my KOBO aura uses the e-pub format same as Suzie's I-pad. Got the sleep cover for it , can read in the the bright sunshine and has a back light for reading in the dark. Battery charge good for abut 70 hours of reading.
