Where are we today ?

Hey we are still enjoying some amazing very, warm spring time weather. It was quite warm overnight, down to 68 F. windows open in the bedroom and fantastic fan going we actually had a very comfortable sleep, no blankets needed.
At 5 am still very warm them cooled down to 60 f by 7 am. overcast, cloudy and a very heavy downpour of rain for about 30 minutes. Thunder storms predicted but no sign of them yet.
After the rain stopped skies cleared made a quick trip to Ashdown for a few things we needed, and home in less than and hour, by 9:30.
Still pretty nice out so dumped and flushed our sewage, check our tire pressure and oil on the coach and the car. We heading out in the morning.
Then a nice light lunch like we usually do. The rest of my homemade chicken noodle soup to go with my 1/2 Banana, Apple and Orange , just perfect.
my favourite lunch |
After lunch still nice out so chairs out to enjoy reading outside. At 12:06 the tornado siren went off to, 4 times then stopped. Check the skies, no clouds, no rain, and no wind think it is north of us in another county, so not to worry. Continue reading, and more walkabouts.
Today I finished another book this one by Laura Hildebrand (Unbroken) a real life story about an Olympic runner, that was in WW11 as a pilot, his plane crash in the south pacific, captured by the Japanese and his years in the POW camps. Very enlightening about some of the very sad things that happened back then.Next book on the agenda that Suzie enjoyed is this one below. Love when we can enjoy some reading time outside, and usually year round for us.
now getting into this one too |
While we were outside a new neighbour from Port Rowan Ontario (Chris) stopped by to chat for an hour or so. They have been rv'ing for many years, just came from a rally in Texas, but he finds the travel days very tiring for him now. Maybe 200 miles tops and rest for a while. No wonder he is 88 years old ! Does not look it though, loves the lifestyle. And he just happens to know our favourite funeral director (Jeff Glendinning) that has a funeral home down there as well, small world.
what a wonderful day here |
hey worked for us no muss , no fuss love leftovers |
Thanks for taking the time to drop on by and hope you had an awesome day as well.
Where have we been this Winter
