Just another desert day enjoying this wonderful sunny weather and warm temps. Got up to 78f , pretty nice and again our batteries fully charged before noon , without tilting the panel. Gotta love it !
A few early morning walkabouts checking out some of the 600 campsites. A pretty good deal a lot of people come back every year here and can book a site and decorate as they wish (with approval) From $550 a year dry camping but if you are set up for it like we are not a bad deal at all. Facilities here are pretty good and activities going on all the time if you wish.
I took some pics during my walkabouts and hope I don't bore you with them. This blog is also our journal.
Not far up the road from us a mini desert golf course 18 holes, with putters and balls supplied.

I have been checking out our coach since yesterday our water pump is cycling every 3 minutes or so with no drips anywhere. Normally it would be a water leak somewhere. Well I checked every where that I could see a fitting and see the water lines. Not a drop anywhere. So I removed the water pump and cleaned it up, did not do it, so I increased the shut off pressure and seemed to fix the problem has not cycled all day now. ( fingers crossed !) That's a huge relief. And we now have more water pressure when the taps are turned on, bonus !
|
adjusted the pressure, middle screw and so far so good |
After lunch another walkabout for a couple more miles enjoying the quiet here and great weather, so many nicely set up sites, not really any trashy ones here at all. No generators running everyone has lots of solar.
Another area they have a nice ramada next to a tennis court and shuffle board court.

Around 4:30 I preheat our Weber Q, whip up our salad that we love. Set 1/4 acorn squash each wrapped in foil with some honey and pepper for about 20 minutes then grilled a couple of boneless chops 5 minutes a side
