Where have we been this Winter
The AZ copper mines HUGE! Love him or hate him Bruce Babbit had a huge influence on the landscapes in the west both as AZ governor and then as our Secretary of Interior. Chops look great!
ReplyDeleteThe mine is amazing, to think the whole town worked there years ago, now just a hole in the ground. The chops yummy.
DeleteAnother great day! Just can't beat this wonderful weather.
ReplyDeleteReally loving it, that's why we are here.
DeleteSorry the mine Museum was closed. It is really a neat museum.
ReplyDeleteThis is the 3rd time we were here and closed maybe try one more time.
DeleteThe town square in Ajo and the buildings surrounding it are all really wonderful. Did you happen to spot the paintings on the walls down the alley behind the buildings, I believe on the south-side of the square. Tom and I thought it was a pleasant walk through.
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful town square, saw the murals last year did not go down that ally yesterday.
DeleteWe enjoyed our visit to Ajo a couple of winters ago. The had a map of a walking tour through town that was fun to do. We even boondocked next to the Tourist office behind those arches and had a good night's sleep. Looking at the huge hole in the ground is something else!
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it to the mini golf and had a good time.

DeleteI sure enjoy your photos and travels! I was just looking at the Canada and US Maps on your sidebar...mine would be the complete opposite, I have visited most of those northern states and all the Western provinces and NWT. Enjoy your evening.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment Jenn, the seasons and our time allowed in the USA have a lot to do with our travels, would love to explore the northern states nut not in the winter.
DeleteAnother great day!! What a blessing!
ReplyDeleteSo glad your coyote friend stayed away and allowed you guys to enjoy a friendly game of golf!!
It was a great day, and the round of golf a bonus as well.
DeleteMarket places are fun to wander through even if you don't find anything to take home with you.
