Where are we today ?
Now our Thanksgiving long weekend is done and was amazing! Saw most of our family, and we all had a wonderful weekend ! Not sure what sister and brother did but they, like us always busy doing stuff.
early morning drive to New Hamburg the skies are not friendly |
Gonna go visit my Ma for lunch today. Very nice visit and she is doing as good as can be expected.
Me and Ma |
lunch was light and tasty |
Back home to camp awesome mowed some lawn for a while then set to work to repair a window blind in the bedroom. I have repaired every one in our coach coach over the years. Some more than once.
Not a big deal any more, takes about an hour to do one. Remove the valance, and the blind. Replace to cord, and re-install.
before |
just line up the slats and install the cord |
all done and works like new |
couple corn cobs, salmon burger and Jalapeno pepper sure did it |
What a great relaxing day we had, then off to the arena to see grandson number one for his hockey practice. Perfect ending to another perfect day.
Thanks to for stopping in.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Spring and Summer.
Your departure day is getting closer. It's nice that you can visit with family before you hit the road again.
ReplyDeleteNot long to go now, and visiting all the family before we hit the road.
DeleteNice to be able to spend time with your Ma before you leave.
ReplyDeleteOnly seven more sleeps and you'll be heading south. That will be a good time to wear off what you found this weekend.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Yep we ready to go anytime now.
DeleteI did not gain any weight this weekend and cannot afford to loose anymore.
I think the US should adopt Canadian's way of celebrating Thanksgiving...an entire weekend! Yes!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo is you and Ma!
DeleteThanks.
We have always enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend here, next just over 2 months until Christmas.
Ugh, don't remind me! I've got one broken blind and another one just ready to break. When that one finally does break, I'll do them both. Not too much fun, you'd think they could use a stronger string in them.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind repairing them have even done quiet a few for friends as well. Just take my time and get them done right.
