Where are we today ?
What did we do? Nothing much, kinda like the movie "Ground Hog Day" an almost carbon copy of yesterday.Just hung out here and enjoyed this great resort. Walkabouts, chat with a few people here and there, a nice light lunch, read for a while with this amazing weather, 30 minutes in the gym.
Suzie sorted some of our books to give away, ones we can download free. Lighten the load in our coach.
Last night we enjoyed a late "Social Hour" with Jim and Judy, a couple we met in Arizona, got home too late to post these pictures. Not used to being out after dark,(must be getting old!)
a wonderful visit and a tasty fruit tray to snack on |
I prepared a couple small slabs of pork ribs in a foil pan, sauerkraut and 1/4 cup water on the bottom, garlic spice, sauerkraut between the ribs and on top.
ready for the Q |
Then added that to a small salad with fresh local strawberries and had a feast.
sure hit the spot |
Glad you could drop by for a peek again, we are enjoying this very nice summer weather.

Those ribs looked delicious. Never would I have thought to cook sauerkraut on the grill.
ReplyDeleteTh ribs and Kraut really go together nicely, works wonderful.
DeleteI've been doing ribs in a smoker at home and appreciate your recipe. I'll have to try that when we are on the road with the RV.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a real smoker, so this works great for us.
DeleteLove your friends shirt...Eat Chocolate, Live Longer. Only if that were true I would live to be 300 years old.
ReplyDeleteChocolate is supposed to be real good for you, in moderation I think.
