So nice and relaxing here.

Where are we today ?
We are back in Plattsville at "Camp Awesome". We really enjoy this place because it is awesome. So quiet and peaceful, no neighbors that we can even hear or see. Lots of room to roam, the dogs can come and visit, (Suzie can brush them and gets to take them for a run= doggie fix). I can mow the lawn (if I want). It is fun here with a wonderful mower with a 5 foot deck. Only 5 acres.
So before we know it the morning slipped on by even though we were up early. Walkabouts, chatting with Suzie and John, make a plan for the day.
My plan was to mow some lawn for about 90 minutes run to New Hamburg for a few things and relax for a while this afternoon with my book.
Suzie out back playing with the dogs
Molly and Buddy like it here in the shade
Then out to visit with John and few friends in the yard for a while before time to fire up our Weber Q for a nice light supper.
on the deck relaxing with Suzie
the pool was so inviting , but not today for me
Weber Q  going grill a nice Basa fillet to share, some yellow pepper slices and garlic toast.
add a lettuce and spinach salad, veggies and dip
we have a feast, we don't do desert so this works for us
It was a very relaxing day for us after a very busy two days with the kids and Grands. Sure was worth it but sure wears us out too.
Glad you could drop in for a peek, and hope you are enjoying your Canadian long weekend wherever you are. If it's not an long weekend for you, sorry about your luck, hope you enjoy it anyway!

    1. Is sure is growing great this year, too much rain and not enough hot sun to burn it off yet.

  5. Sounds like you had a fun break from relaxing over the past days and now back to just being awesome. Did you bring the car with you over the weekend?

    1. Yes we towed the car, to go from one arena to the other. Parking was hard enough to find for a car at the other one.
Now relax a bit and run some more.
