Where are we today ?
Last night's rain put us to sleep, windows open a bit and the window awnings down like usual, when we woke up this morning very warm temps at 6 am about 70f (22C), but a very good day for just puttering around. Few walkabouts chat with some people, some computing here and there. Suzie setting up here I-Pad mini and getting used to it. Its just like her I-phone only bigger and she can read books on it too. Then we can enjoy our E-books outside perfect temps for it. But had a couple of cloud bursts and rained about 5 minutes then the sun came out. Our Acrylic awning has recently began to leak a bit with a heavy rain. No holes just a couple spots where the rain drips through. And guess where? The two spots we like to sit. So I picked up a silicone waterproofing made for this material and when it dries maybe tomorrow will apply it and see if we can fix the problem. Think its standing up pretty good for being 15 years old and no issues with it yet, still looks good too.
Afternoon reading in the sun and shade, work out in the gym and whip up supper. Tonight fire up the Weber Q, grill a couple tasty turkey burgers and a tossed salad.
When the burgers were just about done Vanessa and Greg stopped by to say hi , and Suzie got her doggie fix with a visit from Pearl.

And yet another beautiful day! We got rain, thunder and lightening at Wasaga Beach.
ReplyDeleteYour weather should be much nicer on Thursday then you can get out and enjoy the area.
DeleteDinner looks awesome. I think I'm getting hungry again.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bob , kinda late to eat again though isn't it?
DeleteI like to stay busy but have fund on the days we do nothing that I am starting to enjoy them more...
ReplyDeleteIt took us a few years to adjust to the lifestyle and realize we do not have to get out and sightsee everyday.
DeleteSuzie sure does get her puppy fixes with all the people you know who have pets. No sense in having to feed and pay the vet bill.s I think she has a good thing going.
ReplyDeleteThat's our Idea and it works pretty good too.
DeleteWhat a shame those lazy days with nothing to do go so fast. It would be nice if time slowed down enough to enjoy them! :c)
ReplyDeleteWe do enjoy them, and they do fly by, soon we be heading south!
